We are huge Song School Latin, by Classical Academic Press, fans. We’ll be moving on to their Latin for Children Series in the fall.
They use games, funny videos, and songs (as the curriculum name suggests) and it’s been fun and effective for my 1st grader.

Oh that's great. I was wondering what a good one for littlest would be.
What age did you start them on Latin?

@@howtohomeschool My oldest started when he was 5, but he was one of those kids who spontaneously read at 3. I would wait until the child is reading well, so normally 1st or 2nd grade. My youngest, who is 4 and not a reader, does know some of the material because he sings the songs with us.

Latin for Children is my favorite Latin curriculum. I used that in a co-op for years, and the kids LOVED it. Supplement with classical conversations memory songs. That makes a lot of the chants easy to learn.

Hello! Thank you for all your videos. I’ve learned so much!
I was wondering if you’ve heard of Lamp Light Living. The tile of the curriculum is “ That it may go well” if I’m not mistaken. It’s prek-5th grade. It’s fully biblical based but you will have to add a math program. I would love to hear your thoughts on it if you get the chance to review it. Oh! ITS FREE!!

I haven't heard of that one. Love that it's free. I'll take a look.

I like anything that's Bible based...because at least they open up the bible, haha.

Hello. My kiddo is 14yrs. Never use latin before. Do you think visual latin will be too advance? What latin do you recommend?

No, it should be the right level exactly for him. It will be work certainly, but that's learning Latin for you :). I think he'd like it though if he spends time doing the work :)

      Hello fellow Aussie!!!
I use BJU Press because I love the biblical worldview, the way it bangs on about the gospel a lot and .... because I have a back problem. This means I can't sit down next to my kids all the time and help them. But the online teachers do it all for me which I love. I also know it's a 'complete' education and quite rigerous, which is the type of program I'm after. Hopefully that's helpful. God bless friend.
