I am seriously considering selling my Specialized hybrid bike so that I can get one of these fatbikes from Bikesdirect. When I purchased my hybrid, I had a 100% paved route to work. now it's 50% crushed lime/50% paved. The gravel part is an absolute MESS during the spring thaw, and after heavy rains. Parts of the trail are prone to flash flooding as well. Thanks for showing how to put them together, I still might have my trusty bike shop buddies give it a once over after I get it put together.
What size battery did that come with please ? I think they sent me wrong battary, runs great until i go on the beach, < mostly flat sand > , works good on sand for 500 ft, then battary shows enough charge but it will not engage Take it back to road and its fine , any idea on problem ? It came w a
Sizing on some of these seems to be a bit on the larger size, just FYI. If it says it fits someone who is 5'11" to 6'2" they mean a 5'11" person with long legs.

mine came with the brakes connected. took me about an hour. super easy. like putting together an exercise bike from dicks. super stable and i ride it on the fields and street. anybody want to buy a fairly-new GT Aggressor for cheap?

Came w a 48V 11.6 AH battery , would bigger battary help ?

Mine had shavings in the wheel from the cut outs. Tear the wheel down and clean up the holes before using, you will be thankful later.

If you don't know how, PLEASE look up how to properly adjust a quick release and a headset. Doing them wrong can be very dangerous!
