I've had my pilates bar for a long time and never used it. This is my first workout using the bar, and I definitely feel it! I had to anchor the straps to my couch for the first few exercises since my legs are basically the same length as the cords, but I was able to strap it to my feet for the exercises that requires lying down. Can't wait to come back for the day 2!

Done with my flat resistance band to a degree. I was able to adapt most of the exercises using it. It's definitely a lovely short intro to the pilates bar. I might treat myself 😊. Thank you Jacinta for this workout 👍 😊

You’re doing amazing by showing up for yourself. Be kind and take some additional practices that calm your nervous system to keep hormones as balanced as can. Like meditation or breath work to accompany Pilates
Got a Pilates bar recently and was trying to find some videos, surprisingly there isn’t a lot and a came across your video. Loving it already but my Pilates bar is a bit different than yours as I can’t roll them up for better resistance and I’m a little too short for mine for some exercises. But I made it work. Love it. Definitely gonna come back for day two 😊
Great to hear! Oh I know, I don’t know how your bar works but a few people say they can’t roll the bar :( You have to adjust it by tensioning it and clamping it don’t you?
@@PostureTonicit has one of those straps you’ll see on backpacks to adjust the straps. And on the bar it even rotates so that’s why I can’t twist the straps to make it shorter. Honestly I use the handles instead of the feet handles and it work. I got it off Amazon from AlongSong.

I had problems first getting tension on 1st routine. Till I realised you were wrapping around the bar. I got through but had delays bc I doubled the bands too much tension lol. And the. I have weak wrists so finding balance took some adjusting half way through. But I did sweat
I love my bar but I feel like I wasn’t getting the benefit I was hoping for….so glad I found your videos! Now I feel like I will use my bar more than ever!
Getting back into using my pilates bar. Was struggling trying to roll the straps around, one side kept coming loose 🤦. I found I didn't get enough time to get in position and ready for the next work out quick enough. But will keep working on my timings 😅. Will continue to follow your videos 😊

I'm probably going to try this with my bar for my cable machine, two resistance bands like these ones you have and the feet/ankle loop attachments for my cable machine. Wish me luck. Hopefully I don't die. 😅❤
Loved it and the froggy legs were more favourite as it gave me flashbacks to reformer. I’m not as smooth as you in my transitions between exercises but will improve with use of the bar (and the rest time helped). Thank you !

Well (Philippa) I got very inventive with the long resistance bands as tied one end to my feet (one heavy, one medium) so I could adjust the tension by changing the hold up or down the bands👍 also added 0.5kg ankle weights for a bit more spice-🔥 favourite exercise was the marching glute bridge-sorry that was on the 10mins abs I did before🙄😊! 🤩💪 just saved myself £20 (A$35!) 😂

Oh sorry to hear. That can be tricky for the kneeling series. Does a pillow under knee help? Otherwise you’ll have to try it standing and using a wall or table to balance. Let me know how you go

Oh yes! It’s advanced. Have the legs higher. Or hand one knee bent and foot flat on ground so just one leg extends and then just and a little crunch up and down. Then switch legs.
I have a Pilates bar but struggle with how to use it. I started doing a couple classes using the reformer but this was a great workout and really showed how to use it!!!! I do have a question how do you stretch it so far? I’m 6ft does that make a difference or is in the straps?
Hello! I just got my Pilates bar from break the limits but the anchor points are twisting so i rolling it up is a bit challenging do you have any advise? Also the cords are long, I’m pretty small, and I don’t really get the right resistents. This video is great! It gives me time to switch positions ands it’s very clear! Thank you
Hi Gabe, I personally don’t think it’s a must as I will use other equipment mostly. It’s just another variation to add some flair into your routine. It certainly brings a big burn and you have the benefit of the strength work with using the resistance bar so there is certainly a place for it.
I did my first workout with the bar today. I’m having trouble getting the roll to shorten the strap. It keeps slipping (the fabric part) around the pole. Suggestions?

How tall is Jacinta? I ask because the dish move was impossible unless I rolled my cables up but idk if that’s right or not.. otherwise I couldn’t get my torso off the floor as high as she could but maybe that’s just my beginner lack of abs lol.
Oh maybe your bar has more resistance which makes it harder to pull apart. I’m 161cm for reference. I know different bars have different tensioning. My bar here is from BAHE Aus or Uk only
You can try placing the bar behind the upper back if comfortable. Just avoid behind the neck so you don’t injure yourself. Modify as you need to make it work for you x

Hello! You could do each day however if you are new to exercise I would recommend a rest in between. Hope that helps :)
