Man I love your channel. You’ve got movie quality editing and I always find myself watching to the end of your videos without even realizing how long I’ve been watching.
@@33jayy totally couldn't find it. Only another request for a walkaround that he replied he'd do at a later time. I guess I'll just wait for that to happen.
I absolutely love travelling around in that area and you`re totally correct in saying it seems like it takes hours to travel along that lake! Its much higher than it was in the summer!
Canada is incredible, beats the Adirondack mountains here in NY by light-years.😂😂 i really need to plan a trip to BC when the border opens, congrats on your subs, you'll definitely make it too 100k before the new year!! P.S. : Thanks as well for not ever swearing or being crude in your videos, its really nice that I can watch a channel with my nephew when he visits and not have to worry about that.
I am from CT, anything is better than here! NY is one of the 4 states we are allowed to travel to right now, next week I am off until the day before new years eve, so the wife and I will be making a trip to NY for a few days. We try to go somewhere new once a month now that we have good work schedules.
Dear god man what epic shots! I’d give anything to be able to come up there and explore! I’d get in those mountains and not want to come out! Beautiful!
Honestly Shaun i started watching your videos in January. You may remember me from commenting on various posts talking about where you are because I know them from my childhood. As I watch this video from the start I have an idea of which part of BC you are in. Then along the lake I think in my head, man that looks like Carpenter. And I hear you say you're destination is a small lake. And I think I wonder if he's going to Gun Lake. Sure as hell I see the sign as you pull in. I'm in Cranbrook now and I've seen you in town there with our local dirt garage. All these memories from my child hood these are just places I've been. And your videos make it all kind of click in and make me realize how lucky I am to have the nomadic childhood, and even more nomadic lifestyle now. Also you got to go back to this area mid summer. Some of those roads go so far up in that area. Also give the hurley a rally
Loving the stories, best thing about this channel is you are keeping BC wild by not posting GPS and naming locations. I was loving the scenery and then when I saw the name of the campground it confirmed my location. Now I just need some motivation to finish my 4 season build thats been in the garage for 2 years.
Try 2 weeks at -20 to -30C in Jasper in January with backpacks and snowshoes and 150cm of snow. It's a bit chilly at first but you can get quite comfortable with the right gear and skills.
Hi Guys. Love watching your great adventures. Can I suggest you put the Episode Number in the title so we know if we've missed one, or can trace back? Alwsys fabulous drone footage and music! Thanks, Frank
What's really cool about it, is not only can you sleep a lot of people, but you can remove part of the floor, put a stool down and you have a desk in the back of the truck, inside.
So great to come along...enjoyed this adventure Shaun. We hope to get in some snow camping in...however, a another lockdown was just issued for our area.
Interesting winter camping. You are well prepared and your cooking is excellent. I was born and raised in Finland. During my compulsory military service we had to camp in tents at -32 degrees. Lots of fun in snow. :)
I remember Moosehead beer from my Navy days...we visited Halifax, N.S. It tied for the worst headache in my life. The second worse...a year later I found a 6-pack of Moosehead in the commissary in Charleston, South Carolina. I thought the headache might have been a fluke. Nope!
I missed Flex Friday so i could not miss this, beautiful area, and forgotten how its beauty, your drone footage is the best you've produced yet, scenery, colours, clouds , elevation, spectacular Shaun, I am sure we are all in for more mad videos soon, dude you just got that ?????? to make videos with all the right bits, tunes and vibes, like pulling your audience in with curiosity and BAM 🔥 another sick scene pops up, gratitude to you and your buds that take these adventures and these possible, the videos are a humbling experience with mother natures creations and you paint this on a digital canvas, your 100k subscribers is well deserved ❤️🙏 got to get me some merch
Drove by your house yesterday you were probably just arrived, didn't realize we are neighbors, always enjoy your videos. Hopefully I can join you in my ZR2 one day!
Thanks for another visual feast, it's truly enjoyable. Without giving away where you folks are at, the gentle reader/viewer might be interested to know that if you were for instance in Europe, you've crossed a couple small countries to get there! BC is truly quite a large chunk of land mass. As a lifelong hunter who has been processing our own game for more than 3 decades and who enjoys cooking, I'll send a sincere tip of the battered Bailey for both cutting venison so it has the best flavor and then cooking it perfectly as well. Kudos! Thanks again and stay well.
What's nice to see about this is a focus on "car camping" which so many people crap on. Life isn't always about ultra lightweight sleeping bags and titanium cutlery that weighs half an ounce.
For me, it's more about living out of your vehicle than it is traditional "camping" per say. I like to be able to travel to remote places and self sustain.
Rockin' The Story Till Now Classic T-Shirt, Staring at my gladiator outside, calling me out to go adventure haha. Gonna have to adventure vicariously through you guys today when the video drops! Keep it up, Love the videos! Will be dropping some of my own very soon!
Are you able to do a Jeep update? I'm curious to see how many miles are on the Gladiator and what if any troubles you've had with it mechanically. I hear that newer Jeep products are somewhat unreliable and wanted to know what your experience with yours is like. Thanks.
I started watching your channel when you did the Christmas Special to save Santa Clause and have been hooked ever since. I enjoy seeing how much thought and effort you put into your videos. Keep up the great work! (Btw I bought the GoPro as you suggested lol)

I love winter camping. It's the best because most people won't do and it's a lot quieter.
I want to know more about that Tacoma setup. That rear heated sleeping area looked almost cozy.
He already made a video on that.
@@33jayy who did? Where is it?
Shaun did, in this channel. Later in the comment section the Tacoma guy cleared the doubts for me
@@33jayy totally couldn't find it. Only another request for a walkaround that he replied he'd do at a later time. I guess I'll just wait for that to happen.
@@grenobel No bro, he even showed the interior of the pop up tent and said 4 people and sleep in there. I'll look for a link.
Beautiful drone shots of the snow covered mountain peaks overlooking the lake with equally fantastic music to match, brilliant!

Adirondacks! It’s beautiful there as well. I spent a year Schroon Lake that is beautiful ! Although our Beautiful BC is a pretty amazing gem!

You should do a in-depth walk around of that Tacoma. That thing looks sweet!
Dude, there's nothing like a cold winter nights and whiskey for me. Winter camping is the best. Keep the winter vids coming! Great work my friend!
