Apple cider vinnegar and salt water gargle throat washes, iodine and saline nasal irrigation and diluted garrgle with oil of oregano ... for naturally defeating bugs. Grandma had it covered. Keep at home , prep for bug season.
I just had/have strep. My throat was so sore I couldn't swallow and clear my throat. I had a migrane and the pain was going from the back of my neck up to my skull. I started to feel sick Jan 13 and went to the Dr on the 15th and because I had to wait for my swab test to come back and I didn't get antibiotics untill Jan 18th. If the Dr's would have made me wait longer than my condition would have been much worse. There should be faster turn around time for Swab test. 48 hours is too Long if their condition is bad.
I’ve had strep throat before, I did test positive for the bacteria that causes it yet I never got any symptoms. Do you guys know by any chance why that might be?

Mix.
Gargle until glass is empty. (Like Buckleys tastes awful but it works). You’ll be amazed at the super quick relief.
