Beautiful & passionate performance!!!
merci robert .
Das ist für mich die schönste Interpretation des Schumann Klavierquintetts, sensibel gespielt und spannungsreich.
This, along with the Brahms Horn Trio, is my favorite piece of chamber music. I performed the Schumann on my senior piano recital in the fall of 1984 (almost exactly on this date now I think about it). We didn't play it nearly at this level, but it still was a wonderful experience.
Wow - wonderful piece and performance in a nice intimate setting.
Love this performance. Captivating and sublime. The legatos I heard were the best I’ve ever heard out of any musical recording.
Very fine performance, very sensitive. Right there at the top, in my opinion. Bravo and Congrats!
I. Allegro brillante 2:03
II. In Modo d'una Marcia 11:16
III. Scherzo: Molto vivace 20:41
IV. Allegro ma non troppo 25:32
2:03 Anfang.
Fine playing by all musicians! Felt, however, that the piano could have meshed better with the strings -- a softer-hammered Boesendorfer (pre-1950, maybe) would have been nice here.
