Fun video… I agree, nothing looks better than that fresh mowed field and those big rolled bails. A true masterpiece. Those eight point bucks looked like they were just daring you to shoot them (might just be your camera though). If you want to get on someone’s bad side, put them in the back seat of the truck and flip on those airbags and just say you’re adjusting to the BIGGER LOAD. Daniel, I too love that feel of driving a tractor and brush hoging. So I know what your saying. My dad was one of those guys who wanted his yard cut just right. Once he got out to the country and got a riding mower, well I think he mowed every 3 days if needed or not. Then he found a trailer to pull the grandkids around in. Thanks for those memories.

For a few years, I drove a Dodge Dakota with that same body style that had a heavy duty towing package on it from the factory. Between the 5.2 liter V8, big transmission, limited slip differential, 4-wheel antilock power disk brakes, and frame mounted equalizer hitch, you would have been amazed. It routinely towed my friend's Capri 25 sailboat with it's 900 pound lead keel.

Not exactly sure on the weight on the C337 weight but Google shows around 9950 lbs. with attachments that would be over 10K. That would require 4 chains per FMCSA.
It is so great to see Houston excited about deer season. You could do with having another diesel tank at the Millcreek property to make it easier on you with filling the Tractor. Good luck Houston.

Thank you for pointing out how unsafe towing like that is. Too many people think that just because they can hitch it to their vehicle that the vehicle can tow it. In my area we have had several that are towing too much camper usually, but trailer in general and end up having their vehicle catch fire from overheating.
Hunting and fishing with dad i miss that so much. Keep it up Huston it the best times of your life,
I just had a flashback. Remembering my school and all the schools around me always closed the first three days of deer season in hopes that families could get a deer and have food to eat. In fact, I think most of the schools in Michigan closed the first three days so people could feed their families. Unless you worked south of Flint.
A school near us just closed as kids were gonna skip anyways

I yearn to be on a tractor or some type of equipment. I miss the ramily dairy farm. At 11 years old i learned to drive an international flatbeb hay truck! I was too small to throw bails but i could reach the pedals and see over the windshield !!! Farm life is the best. Im 64 and wish i was still on that farm!!

I agree with you about running the equipment, I have always loved operating different machines awesome seeing the before and after I planted game plots on forestry land mostly I planted for small game Here in Delaware rabbits and quail need good habitat to survive, the deer use these areas usually I mixed different species and it seems to work well for our area. So many different species of animals use these areas Thanks for sharing your experience.

When you were pumping gas you reminded me of the song "row, row, row your boat!" LOL!
brings to mind when I had a truck completely die on me 5 hours from home. (at an Endurance riding event) the only other vehicle we had was a little Chevy Blazer sport. The horse trailer was a 2 horse steel, so pretty heavy. You can bet it took us a LONG time to get back home. That awesome little truck just did not have the stopping power.

Those are some nice bucks you have there. I can understand why Houston would pass if the bucks he's wanting are larger than those. Good Luck this deer season. My son-in-law takes 3 of 4 of our grandchildren hunting every season and the 4 grandson doesn't get to go because he's going for chemotherapy treatments once a week.
