I’ve been in a cooking funk and unfortunately my husband and I have been defaulting to eating out. I can always count on you for motivation and realistic meal inspirations. I’m catching up on your videos and I’ve already gotten up twice to the kitchen to prep two of your meals. You made me realize that I have the ingredients sitting in my fridge and cupboard. Thank you for all your hard work and sacrifice. I could imagine it’s not easy filming and editing with a baby. You guys are awesome 👏🏼
have so been there! That just made my day!! 🥲 I'm honored & truly humbled to know my videos are helping 🥰 I hope the meals did not disappoint ☺️ Definitely not easy but comments like these really motivate me to keep making them, so thank you 💗
I love that round steamer basket for the tempeh. That was perfect! Do you know where you bought it? This was a great video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing! The food looks delicious! I want to try everything, lol! 🤗
Thanks for watching! It came with my Always Pan from Our Place as a set. I’ve added a link in the description box that gets you a discount if you choose to purchase 😊
Love your videos. Not sure how you had the oven going for 2 different cycles it’s too hot for that. Lol. I typically meal prep on Sunday morning. My partner takes his mom to church, grocery shopping, lunch and does our laundry at her house. Gives him a reason to spend more time with her. I pre prep some stuff on Saturday like yogurt , freeze tofu and soak any nuts I plan on using. This week I made 3 sauces, muffins, overnight oats (I hate them but you can’t beat the convenience). I also make meal bags with my pantry ingredients so dinners take 20 minutes at most.
Lol i try to use the oven first thing in the morning when it’s not too hot. Later in the day it’s awful 😂 That’s so sweet of him to do that 🥲 I’m sure she loves spending that quality time with him. Do you make your own yogurt? I’ve never done that! Any good recipe you follow? That sounds like a great prep! That is so true, overnight oats are the quickest and oat convenient breakfast. I have seen people blend the oats instead of leaving them whole of it’s a texture thing. Meal bags?? Please tell me more 😮
@@JoywithPlantsfor the yogurt I used the glue and glitter blog how to make soy yogurt in the instant pot. For the meal bags I put all the pantry ingredients for each meal in a separate bag.
thanks! I love zucchini but I can't always figure out how to use them either so I often just bake them. Recently have been looking for oatmeal zucchini muffin recipes and thinking of making some zucchini boats. Oh and they are also really good sautéed with sweet corn and white onion :)
Looks delicous. Thank you for the realistic content and easy recipes😊 How long do you place the sweet potato in the oven? And at what heat? Thank you so much
Thanks for being here ☺️ I placed them in the oven on 400F for 25-30 minutes. Maybe longer depends on how big they are & if you place them in the microwave I think it does help with minimizing cook time 😊

Great meal prep Milly!! I enjoy your meal prep videos as is, how you naturally prep. I personally prefer broccoli 🥦 too but I also love me my cucumber with lemon, & the Trader Joe’s chili lime seasoning 👌🏽 Also, you have to convince me that the Korean lentils are good. It just doesn’t seem to go together 🫣
Thank you! 😁 Oh yummmm! I’ve seen that seasoning but didn’t ever think of putting it on cucumber. What a great snack. I’ll add that to my grocery list for next week 👌🏽 Lol it sounded a little weird to me too when I first made them 😂 one of my fav things before going plant based was Korean bbq (bulgogi specifically) and one day I walked passed a Korean spot and it left me craving something similar so I went on Pinterest and at the time this was the closest whole Food plant based thing I can find 😂😂 I was pleasantly surprised myself. Lentils don’t have much of a texture or can be more mushy so maybe you can make the same sauce but with plant based beef? Wait.. now I wanna try it with this 🤣
@@JoywithPlants also another note; you were talking about hummus from Trader Joe’s. If you haven’t already you gotta try the chili onion crunch hummus based off of their chili onion oil.

So happy they help! 😊
Love your videos! Can you tell me how long you are steaming your tempeh? I need to try this.
Oops! Sorry I must have forgotten to include it. I steam it for about 5-7 minutes 😊
My husband skips that step but I find it softens the texture. 😊
@@JoywithPlants thanks so much! Going to try this this week!
Love these videos please keep them coming. My favorite veggies are broccoli and zucchini both steamed with nutritional yeast and soy sauce 🤤
I’ve never tried adding nutritional yeast to steamed veggies, going to give that a try tomorrow 👌🏽
I loved that you used zucchini, ive been racking my brain on how to cook recipes that are healthy and tasty that include them 🙂
