Dude I love how up front you are with your sponsorships. I see you using the majority of the stuff you rep. You are a craftsman and you deserve to be compensated for your work. More than that you aren't trying to pretend or act ashamed that the channel is your job.
I dig the "new" video format - quickly jump right in and do the build but then summarize each step of the process for those who might be curious. Good stuff!
Your attention to detail is amazing! The ability to 'get in the zone' and overcome the tediousness of cutting 10,000 little strips from the 30 skateboards is certainly beyond what most people could achieve. Love the channel - love the energy - and love the final results! Can hardly wait for your next video! Long live the folding staircase!!!
Nice! As a woodworker myself, I appreciate the work that goes into any build, the videos show only a fraction of it. Two thumbs up! That "Woo" you give is how I feel when I finish a stage of a build.
It is simple what I like from this channel: reuse and recycle wood to the fullest extend possible. I own a similar business that frequently dumpster dive furniture that are thrown away. People gotta reuse wood and stop throwing it away!
You just keep topping yourself. Better and better every time. This one is absolutely beautiful! You want that shine, you got to put in the time. My first thought when you showed it on IG with the center rows of blue and purple was that it reminded me of a guitar strap. Can't wait to see what you come up with next! Thanks for sharing!
I really like your work and would love to see it incorporated into the van build. Do you plan to use skateboards in building out some of the cabinetry or a skateboard/butcher block countertop?
I loved your original conference table you made in the shop with the fireplace and I LOVE this table too. I’ve been waiting for another skateboard table. The effort put into your process is amazing. Amazing, simply amazing.
Hello from Russia! I've been watching you since the time when the channel had about 100,000 subscribers. Glad that your channel is growing. You have great video production and style. I wish you a million subscribers. I look forward to every video thanks!
I had an idea for the mess you make while using the grinder to strip down the boards. What if your table had a box off to one side that you could attach your dust collector to? Then as you strip the boards, aim the discharge into the box having most of the mess sucked up as you’re working. Just a thought, either way keep up the great work!
@@charl_k I have my miter saw built into a box with a 4" dust port at the bottom, works way better than the dinky dust port most saws have for "dust collection".
@@HenryZwiefelhofer mine is like a big bin behind the saw where i stand. Catches anything the homemade dust collector doesn't get. Also useful to sweep offcuts into, off the table.
I love how far you stretch the skateboard usage by veneering plywood sheets! It makes them last a lot longer, so you can keep making your awesome projects a lot longer :D
You're killing it brother, been watching your stuff for a while and haven't commented before. Great stuff. Been skating for 20+ years now and it's sick seeing someone do what you are doing with the broken boards. I admire your patience!!
Ben, this table looks awesome! I again must voice the opinion on applying this to the backboard, it would look awesome! Love watching your work, keep it up!
Awesome, beautiful work! Your shop/work flows nicely. I still wish there was some way to creatively repurpose the used grip tape. Maybe melt and form it to coasters? I have no idea if that is even possible. Thx for sharing.
Another amazing and beautiful build. I really enjoy your videos. I actually used you're Total Boat coupon code a few weeks back and appreciate the hookup. All Hail the TH-cam algorithm gods for suggesting this channel.
I like seeing you thinking and laying out pattern choices the most. Every piece you make is different, beyond the recycled skateboards material itself. Could make another table and have totally different vibe.
Have you thought about steaming the whole boards and then pressing them flat before the milling process as a way to save time, or is it a wash in just doing it your way? Nice project and the extra mile is worth it.
Big thanks to Keeps for supporting the channel! Here’s the site if you want to check them out!

Were you one out of the two out of the three men experiencing male pattern baldness before you were thirty-five?
Every bit of woodwork is always 20% making cool stuff and 80% sanding

Long live the folding staircase!!!
I love all of his work, but his attitude is what draws me in. Enthusiastic, but cool and laid back at the same time.

For a lot of people having a table like that would be a half-pipe dream!
Love the flip up fan wall hanging plastic wall chamber thingy. I’m hooked.

This video is such a great example of the patience and detail that you put into your craft. It a true work of art!
I can't believe how much sanding...... Looks amazing thought and worth the effort
Never forget to chamfer the edges. Beautiful work, as usual.
One thing that I'm incredibly impressed by is the lighting in your workshop!

Very nice table. Love your work man!
Something nice! But seriously, that finish, the legs, the effort and the results… envious AF, thanks for sharing!

Love the colors, the shine, the Wooooooo!
That's lovely! Loving the kill-room-esque sanding area, great idea!
Perhaps the most important step is sanding. AND, as a wood worker myself, the most hated part!!! That table is awesome!!!
Dude! Another killer build from you. Your attention to details is what sets you apart. Keep it up.

Think I know what you mean, like the idea. I've made something similar for my portable table saw.
Remember, Ben hates when people share ideas with him. He gets all twisted up and rages.

Great to see you back up and running. Always a pleasure.
Best project yet! Love the table! Just a bit concerned for your lungs. I suggest a lot less blower and a lot more vacuum and dust collector.
wow dude, you are getting hella good at your art. amazing to watch your progression. much respect.
Killer job on this one, Ben! I love the colors!
What we like about this channel is the dude - he seems pretty cool
I love the plywood edge with the colorful bit on top. You need to make a table and leave it exposed. Love your work!
