Sadly @medmark is right, Toyota’s Tundra sales compared to 2023 are equal and in some cases surpass the previous years’ on a month-by-month basis. Most people aren’t like us. I agree with having zero confidence the Tundra engines will survive long enough to pay off your loan (Same with Taco's new transmissions) but I also know this will take years and years before the consumer loses confidence in Toyota so it will be some time before it would strongly affect their sales. This is assuming they don't fully fix the issues with the Tundra's and Tacos

7:20 the fact that they expect you to pay "new car" prices on a 2023 is ridiculous. The second you drive it off the lot you're not just losing on the fact that it is used, but it's already a year old used. ANY 2023 vehicle should be discounted a min of 20% off msrp.

It's just ridiculous. Sell your vehicles. Did they forget how to sell volume. Give the consumers discounts and low interest rates. If you sold your vehicles at slightly lower than MSRP without any shenanigans and markups.
You would have made record profits, and we would all have nice vehicles.
Instead, greed and stupid prices will equal no ones going to buy your products. Now we all are not going to even try. A new truck costs as much as a small house used to. Keep shooting your foot, and we will not buy anything.

People are keeping their cars alot longer ....no payments ,lower insurance, lower registration... But you must do your own maintenance...also having a good neighborhood mechanic is a win too. All rhe prices are house prices just a few years ago for the pickups ! Plus interest on a 84 month payment plan ... which will add 1/3 the cost of the pickup.

My son bought his f150 regular cab, short bed, 4x4, 5.0L v8 in 2016 at around 30k starting, then with incentives/perks like student, veteran, loyalty as his old f550 and f250 were from them. His truck was sitting at around 28k. That was new sure. But when he went to go look and trade in, same setup truck is 49k. Just bigger ent system, redesigned body and so on. But thats outrageous 😅. So new danas, a 7.3L Godzilla crate motor, an over built trans, etc. Cheaper then buying a new truck haha

of dealers that wanted to sell pre owned and new. From my experience, they are not alone. I walked out of at least
