I used to watch this show religiously when it first started up, when I ditched satellite TV I lost track of it. So great to see Parker and some of the same crew finding stability and success after all these years! Very cool
it's not the Parker did it, it's the producers who made him face. This show is confirmed to be staged. All gold is fake, all equipment dmg is staged to make content for TV. I bet next year he will make 30 mil, year after would be 60 and so on.
So so very proud of you Parker for what you have done in just a few short years. Your grandfather and family are very proud of you. I've watched you since the beginning and to see the man you've become is indeed heart warming. Thank you and please continue
"Parker Schnabel's bling game is so strong, even his gold nuggets wear sunglasses! With $15 million worth of shine, he's making Mother Nature jealous of her own treasures!"
Parker is possibly the meanest gold miner in N. America. You could only cringe at his tearful outpourings of despair that the $15m cost of the new operation would certainly bankrupt him urging his already exhausted team to give him extra hours and more effort. Fast forward to the season finale and he'd already got his $15m back in profits but there he was still poker-faced wincing in pain with each can of beer he handed out, as the commentator informed us each employee received a gold alloy coin of unspecified weight and purity that Parker commissioned especially. Contrast this with the peanut butter jars of gold Rick was gratefully passing out.
You can also see his stress ulcer heal over when he hears that gold total. He took a huge risk and it is paying off. He now has his own paradise hill to mine gold from for years and years to come.
Mitch your what makes Parkers crew ya bloody legend…. Hope ya wife girl n new baby r all doin well n we get to see ya next season…. Grandpa Schnabel would be so proud of how youve helped his young bloke grow into a good man
We don't ever hear, what the bills are, fuel costs total, wages, ins, vehicle cost, maintenance. Permit costs, the cost of plant trees, repair the land, drilling costs. It would be more interesting, to hear the actual profit was. After expensive. What he, and everyone gets paid per episode. Aswell. What was gotten, versus, what was actual free and clear. I mean taxes on 15 million, gotta be least $6 million.
Each dozer ~$2Mill, each excavator ~$1M average or so. Each truck ~$0.5M. Each washplant ~1.5M. Food alone costs 2X what it does down south. Maintenance costs are 2X or higher. Each person is making ~$100k or more... Wages in AK are high enough in heavy industry you can work for 6 months and then go home and not have to work.
.......the actual total cost in miners language is usually termed in percentage of the amount of placer gold extracted in a cubic yard. I was on this exact ground in 1991 prospecting some creeks running into the land Parker owns now. back then we met the owners of the same large land/claim package and they were mining on a massive scale as it was known as the largest placer mine in the Klondike back then and it was huge really huge. we got talking and they stated the general average total cost of operating on the large scale was about 50 % but it must be remembered that varies depending how much gold is recovered from the operation so if there is not much gold the operating cost is still the same and you go broke. tax laws for this type of work is very different than general trades work as there are a lot of write offs and incentives due to the very high capital cost out lay to get this kind of project operational that is born by the operator. those who attempt this work as owner operators run out of gold and can loose their shirt and many have and a lot of them spent their personal life savings taking a......miners chance.😵💫
Congrats on a great year and a great team!!! Thank you for sharing your experience for all these years! It's been a great ride!!! Keep 'em coming!!! PEACE BRO
Parker. I was waiting for you to say, "Thank You Grandpa" for your start. Your a young man with a lot of life in front😅 of you. Good luck and keep working hard. To bad more young people don't realize what they can have with hard work. Keep up the good work. Congratulations!
God speed Parker, you've worked hard all your life and what you have wasn't just given to you. God has truely blessed you and you have also worked hard for what you have and you take care of your employees and they take care of you.
Felicidades Parker. siempre veo sus vídeos. me gusta mucho ver como extraen el oro..soy una persona que vivo sola con una perrita.. y una gran necesidad...y me distraigo viendo sus vídeos
Look at that, another episode of them pouring gold out of a metal jug while they slowly watching the numbers go up when you know they could have just weighed that jug at the start empty, then weighed it full. Did some math and be done with it but where is the suspense and time for a few commercial breaks! Slow pouring shots it is!
Parker invested 15 million into that land and now is ready to make nothing but profit off of it after a few more weeks of work next season. He made one heck of a deal and is reaping the rewards of hard work and dedication. We all know if it was Todd who made that deal, they wouldn’t even have hit 1000 oz.
He still has about 20 million to even pay off the vehicles and plants assuming nothing breaks. So 2 or 3 more seasons before its "pure" profit Edit: not to mention the diesel cost alone.
@@nightwings8984 true, if you go with that logic. That is everyday run cost, which gets factored in differently and is something that will never actually go away. He stands to make nothing but profit off the land in a few more weeks of mining as that will fully pay off the 15 million he spent on the property itself. He made just under 14 million in this season alone, so if he even hits 5 million in next season, he will have no worries later on. However, he is always going to have run costs, maintenance costs, and other incidentals to factor into his mining operations. That's just standard knowledge. So far, he has been nothing but profitable in past seasons, so I see no reason for him to not be able to pull ahead next season.
@@narnian19 yeah but its the way you phrased it. He doesnt make "pure" profit. After it was all said and done, he didnt earn anything this season. Next season he MIGHT pay off the land, and some of his vehicles. And he did not make 14 million. 14 million in gold powder doesnt not mean he gets 14 million. Its a buisness, its income. He will probably only get about 13.2 selling it after paying someone to smelt and stamp it, or less for powder. And he will only get about 10 after taxes. Minus the cost of diesel, repairs, wages. He will get about 7. Assuming he got a standard loan of 7%, he has 9mil to go on the property. Not saying he wont be making bank later, but profit means you have money after cost. He has not made any profit thus far. But he isnt there for liquid cash. Everything he earns he spends to grow. I doubt he will ever have liquid cash. He will probably get more property elsewhere.

Anyone else from north America find the narrator from the UK just wrong? I can only listen to the narrator we get here.
Wheres Rick ?? Needs help
That is 230 kg Gold ? Wow.
7381oz of gold, with the price it's at today, is $17,599,477...
This was filmed last year. Gold price is always going up and quite fast. Im sure that they dont even sell most of the gold now.
