Got a Sadowsky MV4 24 through these guys a couple of years back, hands down the best bass I've ever owned! That preamp is genius, feels great in the hands and the attention to detail really is on point, even the way the woodgrain in the neck has been cut so it's perfectly symmetrical. Wanted to drop a comment to shout out the Bass Centre, I've bout loads of stuff from them over the years and they've always looked after me really well and been first class to deal with! I'd recommend them to anyone!
the pickup blend is the other way round as Sadowsky think of the blend as you turn your fingers towards the pick-up, e.g. a clockwise turn of the blend pot towards the bridge, isolates the bridge pickup
I just bought one of these with a maple finger board. I commonly play 4 string passive fenders so it's quite a change. Very nice bass so far but haven't had a chance to get it on any gigs. Thank you for this video
I've a mij geddy jazz ,a mim Precision,and had a USA Geddy jazz . Non touch the Sadowsky for tone . I never play it active, solid , clean ,perfect ,right across the strings
I've played Sadowsky Will Lee model and their most expensive models and I would not trade my Kiesel/ Carvin J style 5 string bass for a Sadowsky of any kind. The tone, feel playability, components, construction, looks, options of my Carvin are equal to and even surpass Sadowsky. Sadowsky is very good, but the insane price tag just doesn't justify getting one when a Kiesel/Carvin can blow it away for $2000 less for equal to better quality.
This last sadowsky metro express make in Japan no more productions of it now the new sadowsky warwick metro express will b made in China more affordable but not as same quality as the japan models

A 5 minute drone about this 5 string instrument and not once was the 5th string played!

For 4 strings fender is the best jazz bass but for 5 strings theres a bunch better 5 string instrument such as yamaha, fbass, sadowsky, lakland.

What's the point of reviewing an instrument that's no longer made?
F.e. I'm checkin out for a used one... unfortunately the amp sound is so horrible so killed its sound...
