Haha. Makes me to smile to find another vid of Caig being all serious and actually trying to teach us something. Good work buddy!
So cool that somebody finally made a video on this! I’d like to see how you prep and fit v-twins other replica hardtail without the seat post and brake crossover
a star was born
A slug puller is also a great way to clear the table of any small items lying around.
Man i learned the hard way! next time when cutting you can make a small jig with 3 rods and a few bolts for the frame in the engine area to keep everything in its right place. Its a way easier to fit everything later.
Thanks, John and Craig, for using a Lincoln Squarewave TIG machine. Those welders are manufactured in Cleveland, OH (my hometown). That frame backbone slug removal technique is a great idea. Keep up the great work!
I love that slug pulling technique (or stud) 🤣 never seen that before! Bad ass video, well done! Keep'em comin
Remember when this was going to be a nice clean how to TH-cam channel.
Naaa learning is for nerds
Part Animal Part Machine. I love the Search & Destroy hoodie. 2.13.61
Glad too see some work
The exact video i was looking for....Good job
Thank you!
Nice job bro I can dig it....
as long as yer goin thru all that, add an inch to the seat post for stroke, take them front rails all the way to the neck , add whats needed to make the top rail straight to the rear axel, lose the front foot peg mounts, weld a sporter kickstand tab, mount yer brake pedal off the mech crossover, and put the master cyl behind the tranny... oh wait, theres more.......
the hump at the seat post is...: lay a '58 swingarm against a later model, the 58 topline is straight to the shock/fender strut mounts. the later frames swept up at the seat post (elec start).... for some, the beauty is in a straight top line...
about to do my 81 shovel thanks for the vid!
You guys know your stuff, but you're very humble! If I need some work done I definitely send it to you guys, or do it myself🤔
thanks for watching! I encourage you to try but if you need help let us know!
@@TheEazyCo I will if I need help with something! I can definitely do it, if I put my mind to it! I can't wait till I can build me a bike! It would be fun working with you guys, looks like your having fun! I'm guessing your doing what you love?
You need a porta-band!
Cool work.
Hahjaja😂😂😂😂 damn I never seen this episode where John gets introduced(
Wish this was made ten years ago!!! Lol. Great stuff fucking Digg the content boys!!! Fuck the factory!!!!
Very good and instructive, thanks a lot!
When you get older, you're going to regret chopping that Shovelhead frame. Shovelhead frames with a round swingarm and 13.5" shocks look really good, and ride so much better. Harley riders waited for years hoping the factory would come out with a swingarm frame for the big twin.
It depends on the person though, Tom Fugle rode a rigid till his death at 75
I have to agree, whatever you do, make sure you don't get older haha haha
These are chopper dudes though
because gettin softer as you get older always works..... not
Good job guys! I outta come down there and smack you around.
such great vids. thanks alot for doing them
That V-Twin rear sure looks like it has some crappy looking welds in this vid.......were they as bad as they looked in this vid?
They definitely aren’t great welds. And probably look worse in person haha
So question what's the total price of what you did compared to just buying one
May I suggest trading my paugho wishbone frame to you for the swingarm frame ?! 🙏🙏
That’s what happens when you get old , have to get a swingarm frame ! 😂😂
I never realized before just how much of a chopper frame is hardtail; it's got to be 3/4 of the frame or more. Educational, is what I'm saying.
I like it.
The welds on the frame look kinda poopy
👏👏👏
Know where to get a drop seat rigid full frame from? Thnx
Where did you buy your hardtail section from?
This one was vtwin
you should do a video how to with an ironhead.
I would not destroy a shovelhead swing arm frame!... I'd rather pay $800 to $1000 for an aftermarket frame (they're out there for that price) or unless you're buying a Paughco or something like that or even a stock HD rigid frame, Daniel pay a lot more!
It’s not destroying it’s upgrading
🤘😎🤘
Is there a USA made Tig welded hard tail section available?
I believe hardly brothers used to make one but I don't think they nod any more
What do you charge to do this job ?
I'll buy a frame for a shovel hardtail from you guys if y'all have one
Why would you build anything with a frame from Taiwan ? Make's the whole build stupid ! The motor is the only value , unless you used inferior parts ? 😂
What is a Chinese hardtail why is it an 1/8 inch difference......
What’s the hoodie Craig wearing
An old Eazy company one and then a rollins band one
@@TheEazyCo the orange one with the wheel you guys should do a black and white one it looks cool
What’s your business email or website? I have a 71 frame that I want to make a hardtail
Theeazyco@gmail.com
What’s the song
I thought the welds would have looked a bit nicer.
I bet
Why ?😂
I have been looking for a stock shovelhead swingarm frame for over 4 months. Stop converting original stuff.
No
@@TheEazyCo ….actually…good….you’re making the original stuff more rare and collectible.
FUKIN’ EEEEEHHHHH
You folks are getting folks to ruin auethentic
Authentic what
@@TheEazyCo Frames ! Thats why there are not alot of original frames for many of the early bikes ! Many were stretched , shaved , Just saying ! Been there done that ! So be it ! If it's your thing ! A stock bike frame an engine will hold some value , but a replacement hardtail frame is junk ! Now that HD IS STOPPING PRODUCTION OF THE SPORTSTER ! RARE MODELS , THAT ARE STOCK WILL SEE A RISE IN VALUE ! I HAVE OWNED MANY BIKES ! I KEPT THEM STOCK ! YOU CAN FABRICATE , BUT I FEEL THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS ! MINE WAS TO FIX AND KEEP THEM ON THE ROAD , IF YOU WANT TO IMPRESS , THE YOUNG NEW RIDERS , MANUFACTURE , US MADE , FRAMES ! PUT THE STOCK ONES ON A SHELVE !💀
Sacrilege
Those welds are ugly on that hard tail.. I’m a boilermaker welder.. but I want to get into making Harley’s I just can’t stop watching videos and reading up on Harley’s I hate my career and want to change it. Gonna buy me a project to do up lucky I already know how to fabricate and weld to do hard tails at lease it’s the motor and wiring stuff I’ll have to learn the most..
