- In this episode of Invited, Becky Goebel gets hands-on with her 1949 Panhead build for Born-Free 13. Follow along as she travels to Milwaukee, where she gains insight and inspiration for her build at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Then, she takes her ideas from the archives back to the shop in LA and gets to work in the home stretch leading up to Born-Free Motorcycle Show.

Becky…it doesn’t EVER “have to be over”, I’m 73 and have 2 choppers in my garage now, with a ‘46 Indian bobber in the wings waiting for it’s resurrection. And when I physically can no longer ride, which I doubt that day will come, I’ll place her in a place of reverence where I can see her everyday. 😎 Jim.

I wanted chrome on my first bike today all black no rust no cleaning after coming home wet no thx. and ive had many bikes from the 70s and still ride today yep harley.

In the mid seventy's i had a 1953 panhead that i was told it was used in the easyrider movie i did not believe it at the time but was told later it was true long after i sold it.
Damn, she’s a definite keeper. And so is her bike. Both are real beauties. Ride safe.

HD why are you losing the spirit that comes with you since the beginning??? I´m just 45 y.o. and definitely I can´t say I´m an old school guy however, since I was a young boy I always wanted mi Harley and almost 30 years takes to make my dream comes true! I own an 2003 FLSTC and a 2002 FXDWG. So, when I finally got my bikes i though, someday I will sound the bell! but... today I won´t!!!
Sadly I´ve seen how you changed trough the time, I fully understand the needs of today´s market (finally this is a business) but it doesn´t justify that YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR VALUES! Let me tell you, I´m very happy with my bikes, If I had wanted a bike with ABS, full of sensors, that doesn´t vibrate or heat, with led lights, GPS or electric I would bought a BMW!!!! but nooooo! for many years you sold a dream, a lifestyle and more... and I always bought it!! so please come back to the basics!!! return the soul you have lost to the factory and keep on!
It´s also sad, talking about my bikes and the bike of this video, you my friends have become Apple!!! all marketing it´s for the new iPhone but if you have an old one you don´t deserve the right to come the store! Today, me and many more classic enthusiast we are doom!! every day you are taking out of the list parts and accessories, so your older than 10 years as my lifestyle are sentenced to death, and also my dreams to have a real and original classic bike. What are the options? begin to star installing aftermarket pieces because it´s a sin if you have an old bike, especially in Mexico where I´m from and write.
I don´t know if this comment goes to the highest levels (I really hope) and helps and serves as advice because I really love the brand (my youngest daughter was called Hannah Deyleen just to have the HD on her name! was a really good idea until she was born LOL)

I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot
You better believe it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame
Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.
I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes
They did nothing but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis could not walk around
I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground.
I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
After I smoked some to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
I searched for some ground I wouldn't have to buy.
I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Got in my bike and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where wild birds nest
Found me the meadow I thought was the best.
I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds
Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.
Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.
I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.
In less than a week my crop was gone
I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!
