Hi I saw this video or other similar about the Cycling Scene . I liked the video a lot. I just want to add that Cycling scene in Melbourne is much more. Mountain biking is also very popular, and is good to mention that thousands of people commute to work everyday . In that video you didn't mentioned "around the bay, or " seven peaks, Yarra Blv". I just wanted to add that. But thank you for loving Melbourne. All the best in your new projects. 👍

Imagine if you had discovered the 'north side' of Melbourne cycling. Now that's where the real fun is. Beach Road is okay when you're starting out and want to work on your average speeds or if you don't like hills
Hi David, yes that is correct. My parents have lived up there for many years so I've done plenty of riding around there over the years. But looking forward to getting to know it more intimately! Cam
Who said it was over!? I have sniffed out the crits in Sunshine Coast and will be racing up here. Unfortunately - from a goal perspective - my interstate move with the family was brought forward almost a month. It cut my Melbourne time short. I only got to race 8 times in the end! I have an update video coming in a few weeks. Thanks for your interest. Cam
soooo jealous...Noosa is definitely my happy place! Eight consecutive years of participating in Noosa Tri. Some amazing riding up there too. Make sure you check out Velothon in July! Hit me up if you a new staff member based in Noosa!! haha In all seriousness, I think there is an untapped market on the sunshine coast for a cycling cafe/business like O'Mara Cycles or Giro in the UK! Good luck with it all!
Cam Nicholls sunny coast has some good riding, the hinterland offers a lot of hills and Peregian is a very nice spot. Spend weekends there with the wife and kids (and my bike) several weekends each year. I think you’ll like it once you settle into the scene
@@hugoyoung4890 for beginners it's about education not racing, so I wouldn't worry too much about fitness until you've gone down and tried it out. They'll start you off doing supervised laps, not racing. Cam
hey Glenny, there is often police presence for that reason. It mainly happens at the backend of the bunch in the warmer months, when the bunch gets significantly bigger. It's one of the many nuances we were hoping to investigate in the documentary. Cam
Curious as to why u guys take up all the lanes. It’s one thing to promote whatever it is you guys are promoting but while breaking the law at the same time is kinda counterintuitive.

Peregian Beach, near Noosa. Parents live up there and the kids are young so thought we'd give it a go! Cam
