    Do you know any desk adjusters who work remote and have two kids at home under 2? Or do you have a recommendation of a role where someone can work remote but flexible enough to provide childcare for 2 little ones?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I would say that if you have work that you do from home where you need to be on the phone and focused on files, then you might need some help with the little ones.

      Hi Matt :-) Do you have any thoughts on how an adjuster could work remotely as a US adjuster, but from, say, Mexico? I’m planning to leave the US in a couple of years. Just starting to try to determine if I can stay in the industry and accomplish this. Thanks :-)

    Great Info as always!!! How are Desk Adjuster and File reviewers paid? fee schedule, hourly, or by file?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Either by day rate or per file, usually. Sometimes by hourly, but never by fee schedule that I've heard of.

    I would love honest advice.
    I knew a p&c license would not be enough.
    My future goal is remote, however, I understand I have to take anything to start. Many many rejections and applications later I still can't land anything, Not even trainee roles. After a couple of months it gets frustrating. I figure experience us killing me but I can't seem to find anyone willing to give a newbie a chance.
    5+ years receptionist and teleclaims.

      one license is a good start but to really stand out, especially for remote, a person really needs to get absolutely as many licenses as possible. When they staff deployments and daily assignments (and remote) they usually will sort their rosters by state license. "We need an adjuster to handle remote claims in Washington." If you don't have a Washington license your name won't even come up. If you DO have one, you might be the only person with that license and then you're getting a call.

    can you get your license and get a job as an insurance adjuster if you have a petit theft misdemeanor that happened in 2018 when I was 19 years old? Im 23 now and I have not had any offense since and I have a college degree from University of Florida

    • @AdjusterTV

      Contact the Florida insurance commissions office and ask and they'll tell you. They should take things like that on a case by case basis.

    Ok so I was trying to watch your video but had to stop. The constant "thump" sound from you hitting desk and adjusting your mic every few seconds drove me insane. I found myself focusing on how many times you touched the mic instead of the content. Lol. I don't mean to come off rude, just giving feedback.

    • @brandieebutler961

      I didn't want to say it, but yeah. I was talking to my monitor constantly saying "Don't touch the mic!" It's great content, but come on, leave the mic alone.
