when I realised this game was a slow pace strategy based and not a tradicional fighting game I didn't want to buy it anymore, but seeing this gameplay and understanding what you're doing makes me ITCH to buy the game.
Im so sad when it comes to replays because my best replay ever was in beta, I was cowboy, my opponent was mage, and I kept dodging ALL of their missiles, like at least 3 missiles at any given time, and I was dodging, blocking, AND ADVANCING TOWARDS THEM through it all. I even ended up winning, and the mage was so annoyed. (they literally said "LET ME HIT YOU" during the match) but now when I see it its just a mage and swordsman, standing around until you see the "Player 1 wins"
1:50 when it comes to these kinds of situations with exception of when you are 100% confident they are going to burst, and you know your opponent(or are just being a little brave) always check if you have disadvantage if they don't burst. If you want to take the risk, don't let them have more than 3 frames of advantage or 4 if you are at a decent enough distance to stay out of a jab, otherwise you risk letting them steal your combo for free.
Got a question about it though, So let's say someone is using sukuna and both you and them pop domain, is there any special events or is it just whoever was the quickest?
