For sure creaming cold eggs and butter makes for a much better cookie. Really helps on texture. I have not made enough cupcakes to say it works similar or not.

I agree !! Dont overbake them when you test for doneness there should be a few miost crumbs not totally clean
i disagree! i have never screwed up caakes or cupcakes i made from scratch and i use cold eggs.

Over mixing the dough and get a tough cupcake in the end.
Go light on most frostings. Too much takes away the cake flavor.
Weighing your ingredients really is better. Same results every single time.
Burning the bottom....make sure to put some paper on a tray then place CC tins on top of paper
