That's an underwhelming build for a GRF-2N. Bara was firing nonstop during second match and made it to the end. A 4xSRM6a build would have dealt 800+ damage easily, with a tighter cluster. He was under 300m almost every time so the MRM range did not come into play.
I love how mrm10s are useful for more than saving tonnage now. The close grouping also helps prevent total derp by ams as well. Six on a Bushwhacker is fun.
TBT-7M with mrm30x2 is really really strong now due to the mrm buff as well. I have been getting a lot of 1k+ damage games with it. Running an XL engine with those large side torsos makes it kinda squishy, but the good mobility+jump jets allow you to survive long enough during combat. Its torso twist speed is fast enough for proper damage control anyway, especially if you skill into it. I think you had some videos on that exact same build, you should probably try it again.
I was surprised to see Baradul running with a 2N build centered around 4xMRM10s. I came up something similar after a lot of experimentation. I have medium pulses, a little less ammo (4 tons, instead of 4.5), L.AMS, and a light engine(my twist game is bad and ~10 kmh slower, I have usually not wanted more speed). I have been using it to good success, but the heat buildup doesn't support sustained engagements and it tends to cap out on damage output above about 800ish. I have thought about downgrading the lasers to regular or ERs. Another ton of ammo wouldn't be amiss either.
I think cooldown seems off because your mind notes difference between end of the now shorter missile stream and the ability to fire again instead of more linear start of stream vs start of stream.
I'm running this chassis with 2 MRM30's XL engine and everything jump jets. Pretty strong build if a risk one (light mechs) but I'm having consistent success with it.

Really quite alot of close games recently, we had an LRM Catapult win a 1v1 clutch by charging and faceplantic a cored ppc Jägermech, whih ended up killing himself with splash damage
I know man! I just wanna nicely say to him, if you are constantly needing help and the team is elsewhere, maybe it’s YOU that’s out of position and needs to change. Not everyone else in the game.
I own *almost* the exact same mech, only difference is I'm running a Light Engine 300 instead of XL, and ER Medium instead of small. Only had to trade one heat sink and some armor off the left arm
Just keep calling out to yer team. I agree, for some reason people are way less talkative than they used to be. On a team of 12, it's usually Me, and maybe 2 or 3 other guys calling out to the team. Super weird.
I always ran the same mech with 2 MRM 30s.... is the burst effect only on the MRM 10s? instead of the usual stream? might be worth looking into.. haven't messed with mrms in a long time.
They changed it so that all MRM launchers have the same missile density in their streams as the MRM 40 did, meaning smaller launchers squirt missiles out faster with shorter streams. Before, they all had the same stream duration but varying missile densities.
I run 40 MRMs on a 40 ton Assassin, with a much smaller target and faster speed, and I find I need to take more cooldown nodes than heat gen to pump it out. At 55 tons, I can run 6xMRM10 on a Dervish. I am wondering if those would perform a lot better?
It almost looks like the cooldown timer doesnt start moving for a split second after the last missile fires. Maybe its still synced up with original volley duration?
Its great to build within what has been fucked up thru patches, yet when agility patch hits meds, smalls will be completely worthless, even more than they are now..this universe was never about grind to an assault. I fear even the Gullag, does not understand this game has and was fun being able to out pilot, build and skillfully out shoot other people.. Recently came back and was having fun even after years of counting it out as power creep is all that matters..and now I feel like we have once again taken a huge step back. Btw, I do dig this build within the confounds we find our selves in today

A bit disappointing performance for that build Bara - you were over performing on 2nd match firing almost nonstop and only dealt 500-ish... The 4xSRM6a build for the 2N is still better and SRM resist AMS.

Griffin's a great Mech, I still see a lot of them out there. I'm really liking the new MRM's as well, half the Mechs I own currently run MRM's...

Running a similar build on the Blackjack. No ecm but it's a great poptart and has the Bad Mech Camouflage

What can I do to combat the lack of team play at my tier. I loose so many matches because everyone plays so individually and don't talk to each other.

hmm.. isnt the health stat just the module health of that launcher? I've been away for a long time so I havent kept up with updates.

Late to the party. That was some ridiculous tanking in that Griffin. I had to go back to the start to figure out how it took so much damage.
everytime i watch your using jumpjets you destroy the legs of your mech to 80% yourself ^^ need some fuel for your landing :D
