I noticed that Gwyns hair is described at glowing ‘molten metal’, bright orange, and Vassa’s flames and hair are described as molten metal too. My theory is Koschei will control Gwyn and her (possible) light singer powers to lure Azriel. And Elain is the only one that can find Koschei’s box, and will be the one to rescue Az. I saw someone screenshot stuff on SJM Pinterest, hinting at a sleeping beauty retelling but the girl will save the guy, and also there was another fairytale, the picture was the villain controlling a girl with ginger hair. So I think this is what the bonus chapter was hinting at, pointing out Gwyns powers will be significant.
The reason I’m so excited for Elain’s book (and Azriel based on how SJM set it up) is bc both of these characters are still much of mystery. So it will be such a new experience where you might have lower expectations but it blows you away. I think it will make me cry lol.
Az being a prince of Hel, and Elain rising up as a bad b would definitely be so fun to read. And the crossover surely has to play a part moving forward, bc no way is Az going to learn the cauldron was corrupted and not go quietly and humbly brag to Rhys about being right 🤣
Elain is so underrated tbh. I have a feeling she’s going to be the most powerful of the sisters since there’s more to her powers we don’t know yet! I’m so excited for it
THIS everyone forgets how she has made a lot of decisions and stood up for things. She's just a quieter person! She told Nesta to help Feyre, She had them take the humans to her ex's place, She stabbed the KING! And she keeps rejecting Lucien cause she don't feel it. You can't tell her what to do!
Ooo that last Reddit theory. I love it. Only thing I think though, is if she becomes evil how will she have her romance? bc would her LI stand by her through that? Lol and SJM loves Elains character, so I don’t know if she would villainise her, so if some are good or bad, maybe she’ll be bad temporarily and her LI helps to bring her back to good?
I read CC first and at the end of CC2 I was like - who is this Rhys and why is everyone so freaking out? Then I came to ACOTAR and was absolutely confused in the beginning why Feyre ends up with Tamlin.😂
I believe Lucien has been through too much to not have his mate at the end of the day. It will take some time but I think him and Elaine are true mates and will eventually be together.
