But it is exactly how science works, obviously its an oversimplification because density, location etc etc are all variables that affect the result. However there will be a level of CO2, including location and density, where the negative effects of climate change begin receding.
But instead she denies this and then states that the right thing to do is to lower our emissions as much as possible. That is denying the scientific elements of the debate and replacing it with a cliche of 'try our best'.
That showed how she doesn't know what she is talking about.
Another thing that highlights this is her desire to appeal to emotions, using her 'metaphor' calling people to panic. Combine these two and you have a child who really is out of her depth.
Nonetheless her answers are really good and for her age she is obviously very well spoken and thinks things through. Unfortunately she's like a swan amongst sharks.
She's been well versed in political speech, even starting with the "Thank you for that question" time waster. (Translated, "Let me hold off for a few more seconds here before I babble on for 5 minutes while not even trying to answer the question.")
