@@chloemotsinger2987 they are 2 of my favorites as well :-). Yeah that scene about Yamcha getting pierced by by Android 20 is pretty scary. I remember it quite vividly I was only 16 years old. That was around the year 2000.
Dragonball Z was the show for me cause the love for my older brother. We stayed up every night watching instead of being asleep for school the next day. We saw from Goku fights Raditz all the way to Namek saga. Then my brother left to the Marines....I kept on watching...and when these basterds showed up with this music, I too felt scared in what was going to happen to my favorite characters....God I miss it all.
In my opinion, the Android/Cell arc was the pinnacle of Bruce Faulconer's DBZ score! Definitely has some of the best and most memorable tracks in the entire series and this is indeed one of them!
What’s scary about the Androids Is that they know goku from decades of dr Gero building and plotting against kid goku, the original design of the androids was designed to wipe out pretty much all of the z fighters including goku. Also they have no power level to detect so it much easier for them to sneak around
I wish the original idea of these two being the androids stuck in hindsight just because one of them is Dr Gero and his main motivation for revenge is because Goku killed his son which makes him a lot different from most of Dragon Balls enemies
Yea but Dr gero did alot of damage in his short time he destroyed a city almost killed yamcha and absorbed piccolo's energy it's a shame 17 and 18 didn't team with him but I get why they killed him
I only learned about that fact last year (2019 Ironic right?) that 19 and 20 actually WERE supposed to be the androids Trunks spoke of. In fact in the original manga when Trunks is warning Goku about them, he calls them No. 19 and No. 20. I mean Design wise and Concept wise these two could have made for some interesting antagonists, had they been given time to develop.
I doubt they can Piccolo was kicking Dr.Gero’s ass when they was fighting even after he was absorbing Piccolo’s energy that Piccolo was still be able to beat him before getting a Senzu Bean from Krillin who gave him one when the Z-Fighters found Dr.Gero so I don’t see how they wouldn’t be able to beat & destroy those Androids that they we’re obviously just too scared to fight them to think they were much stronger than them without even trying which they did by not underestimating them

After the Kami fusion he was stronger than all the androids at base form outside of maybe 16. The problem is he probably wouldn’t be able to destroy 17-18 before cell absorbed at least 1.

Actually, Bruce Falcouner never made this soundtrack. He was taking credit from his team being Mike Smith, Julius Dobois, and Scott Morgan
