i dont own a navi and dont plan to purchase one. i just watch these vids because they are super relaxing and fun. thanks for the great content. and congrats to Nina for her first rebel ride home :)
Great job. This is my first step by step video of yours, and thank you. Thanks for finding, and showing the how to Grey areas of this bike. Makes it so much more entertaining than leaving a mess of unknowns for the average person to figure out.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I definitely try to be as thorough as possible to show the ins and outs, and show the average person how easy and fun mods like this are!
I just bought a used Navi 2 days ago for $1500, and it only had 300 miles! These videos are already giving me some awesome ideas for what I want to do with it!
Man I loooove cheap mods and upgrades. Seems like most people tend to thirst for only the huge and expensive upgrades, like a 600 dollar exhaust or a full custom fairing kit for over a grand - and those are nice too of course - but man these small and cheap mods are great. Things like levers, indicators, phone mounts, affordable third party windshields and so on.. they're my jam.
Agreed! Nothing better than seeing how much of an impact a few cheapo mods can make! Plus, if they suck you can just chalk it up to how cheap they were, but if they don’t suck then you feel like you hit the jackpot because of how cheap they were 😂😂😂
Love your videos bro. About to get a new job where its like a 5-7 mile commute from my house. Makes me want to get a Navi even more and mess around with upgrades . Looks super fun.
Thanks Keith!! We appreciate you! Definitely looking forward to all the good things to come on both of our channels now that riding season is kicking off 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Think I’m gonna pick one of these up as my first bike being these are so cheap and I’m in a bit of a budget. Really just need it for getting to work and home and maybe back and forth between stores. Not expecting a lot from it except being reliable and great on gas and pretty fun to ride!
the guards would drive my OCD through the wall. That's why I removed them from my harley. also did you put the rubber seal behind the lens that popped. Those seals are dual purpose. 1 keeps water out, 2 keeps you from overtightening the screw and cracking the lens
I'm getting that shock. The red or the florescent green. I had the brown plastics but bought the red ones this winter and switched them out. I rode my navi to work all winter. 22 f was the coldest. I live 1 mile from work so very close.
Thanks again for the info. I have the windscreen, and I found a Vance and Hines for about half of what the Yoshi costs. Next is high flow air intake and a clutch kit. One day the hi-po carburator set up.
Mike, You didn't elaborate on the cliutch springs, clutch kit and variator upgrades. Please explain how these upgrades help. Especially the variator. Thanx. Bob
Next Navi video. "How to easily fold down a Navi into a coffee table and back again for your living room/garage" Loving the living room/garage setup every time haha
very nice video..👍 I bought a brand new 23 grasshopper green, all original; right out of the dealership.. 25~35mph average speed.. 10W-30 GN4 frequently oil 🛢 change every 100miles for 1000miles engine break-in cycle.. after that period switch to synthetic (10W-30SJ) at continuous 200miles oil 🛢 change forever.. When you screw on lens covers just use a very small amount of blue loctite. That way you won't crack the lens by over tightening... It would probably be a good idea to use loctite on everything...
Hi great video 👍🏼 in your Yoshimura install video you used a silencer that you purchased with the exhaust system. In the beginning of this video you showed a clip with the spark arrestor sound, is that the same silencer you purchase thank you.
in India it costs 53,000 rupees (indian currency) which is 635 dollars and people say its too expensive WHILE everyone here in India owns a Honda Activa which cost 77,000 rupees that is 923 dollars😂😂
Honestly, dont even own NAVI, but after your videos im kinda attached? Dunno, really liked this scootercycle :D Too bad those are really expensive in my country tho
hopefully you already know this but the reason the blot was missing is that it probably got loose and fell off. i heard on a another video that you need to check all ur blots after 100 miles because they may come loose over time
They look great and the shock seems to work well too. If you had to chose between just the Navi or the Grom for a 2nd bike, which one would you keep? (I know the Navi has more storage but the Grom is faster.....I think that new shock on the Navi may make a big difference in your decision since I remember how bad the stock one was.)
Honestly the Grom and Navi are so different that there’s no “one size fits all” answer to your question. I think the primary thing to consider is what kind of riding you’ll be doing and what kind of roads you’ll be on. The Navi cruises 40-45mph while the Grom can cruise 55mph+. So the Navi’s lower cruising speed could immediately knock it out of contention for lots of people. If you determine that speed isn’t a factor for the type of riding you’ll be doing, then I think price and features come next. The Navi is obviously much cheaper brand new, but Groms can be found used for not much more than a Navi if you’re patient. As far as features, I love the storage on the Navi, how easy it is to work on, and the fact there’s never a chain to maintain/adjust. On the Grom I love that it’s fuel injected, starts up every time first go, has waayyy better brakes, and has such higher build quality. For the type of riding I personally do, I’d keep the Grom as a second bike if I could only have one. But the Navi’s so cheap that it almost would never make sense to sell anyway. Hope that helps!
@@LifeOfBurch Thanks for your answer. I'll be riding back roads so mostly 40mph. I'll be buying new and the availability better on the Navi than the Grom so that may be the deciding factor. (but I have about a 40 degree driveway so hope the bike is powerful enough to make it up the hill.)

It’s just not something I’d do personally. High winds with cars cruising most times 5 over the speed limit…it’s just not safe truthfully.
You would have to do LOTS of upgrades to reach that speed. 52MPH downhill is the top speed on mine. I'm 6 ft and 190lbs
Can you provide a link for the shocks. I’m new to the Navi and I see a lot of options for shocks. I want to order the right one. Thanks
I would think the o-ring for the hand guards goes between the bracket and plastic guard. Maybe?
Yea there’s an o-ring between pretty much every surface and they all smoosh like that
