Great information you are praying and helping thank you. I have a question.? Our case foam I -130 was approved in 2010 and notice sent same year. No action was taken probably we didn't know what to do next Similarly again in September 2021 it was approved and notification sent but petitioner didn't receive. Asked to check in Feb 2022 for notice but still no interview date yet. My question is how to go next step to aquire interview And how much longer should we wait? We need help.
Hi, my sister filed an I-30 form for me in 2009 which was approved in 2010 and I haven’t heard or gotten an update since. Does it normally take so long to process? Thanks in advance for answering.
Usually when NVC approves your document, they will email you letting you know they forwarded your cases to NVC. Then NVC will email you with new login information. Have you kept up with the emails?
Look up the jan 2023 nvc raw data it shows fully 13 percent of embassies were not scheduling interviews because they did not have any documentarily complete applicants. This number will only have increased in the last 9 months. This is a huge wastage of visas because the priority dates are not moving.
Jacobs hi, i have done my interveiw this year and was asked to submits some other documents s and the passport was return back without a visa after recieving document complete. Wat do i expect next?
Thank you Jacob. This is very helpful and sets realistic expectations. We filed for my mother's green card in 2021.....process finally completed July 2023 through NVC. All documents completed and waiting for interview in Lagos. Are you saying that we should just wait to hear from NVC for interview date which may take up to a year to happen? THEN we would schedule medical interview and register info online with ustraveldocs? Thank you for your help!!!!
Yes, that is correct. Once you have received a DQ notification from the NVC, you will need to wait for them to schedule your interview appointment. The wait time for interview appointments can vary depending on the workload of the embassy or consulate where the interview will take place, but it can be several months. Once you have received an interview appointment, you can schedule your medical exam and register your information online with USTravelDocs.
See I Am in kind of same situation me and wife is completed it’s been 4 months and still no scheduling but we filed for the I 130 and 2022 took the USCIS forever now the NVC is the same situation. It’s taken forever 4 months already.
Hello, I received an email from the NVC stating that my case is now documentarily qualified. I received email for documentarily on august 17 2023 I'm eager to know how long it will take for the interview, especially since I noticed that the priority date remains the same. The email mentioned that my application is in line, awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate it. My priority date is February 12, 2008. Can you predict how much longer it will take for my interview?
Hello! Receiving notification from the National Visa Center (NVC) that your case is "documentarily qualified" is a positive step forward. It means that all the necessary paperwork has been submitted and accepted. However, predicting the exact timeline for your interview can be challenging, as it depends on various factors. Here are a few points to consider: Priority Date: Your priority date of February 12, 2008, is crucial. You need to monitor the U.S. State Department's Visa Bulletin to see when your priority date becomes current. The interview can only be scheduled once your priority date is current. Consular Scheduling: Once your priority date is current, the availability of interview appointments at the specific U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you will be interviewed also plays a role. This can vary based on the consular post's workload, staffing, and other factors. Processing Times: Generally, after a case becomes documentarily qualified, it can take several months to a year or more for an interview to be scheduled, depending on the factors mentioned. However, this is a general estimate and can vary significantly. Given the uncertainty and variability in processing times, it's advisable to remain patient and keep monitoring the Visa Bulletin. Would you happen to know anything about the processing time in Costa Rica? I'm already in Documentary Completed, and I have been waiting for three months.
Hello Thank you so very much for your time explaining the process. I have a question. I have applied for my sister and after she will be DQ, hopefully any day now how the process of scheduling interview works? Obviously there are 400k DQ cases in front of her. But we are coming fron Eastern Europe Embassy that is working pretty good. Does she have to wait while all other 400k cases that were dq prior her with interview to be scheduled in a very busy embassies since they have early pd or since she is dq and our Embassy has available spots she can expect the interview to be scheduled very fast? Thanks
Your sister will be scheduled for an interview in the order in which her case is processed, but the fact that she is from an Eastern European embassy that is working well may mean that she will be scheduled sooner.
Hi Jacob Hope you’re doing great How do I resolve such issue My case been documentary complete since 2022, the frustrating thing is that, my wife should be attending a major sugary and I should be aground to give her my support yet i can’t figure out how long it going to take to get an interview letter.
Hi sir, I applied for I130 for my spouse who lives in Canada. Our interview location is Montreal. As of now NVC accepted all our documents and we are waiting for the interview date. Priority date is shown as 23-Sep-2022 in our CEAC account. Visa class is CR1. How long it would be before we get the interview appointment in Montreal?

Here's what you should know: 1. **Visa Bulletin**: The U.S. Department of State's Visa Bulletin provides information about visa availability. The Final Action Date for your category and country of origin determines when a visa is available for you. 2. **NVC Scheduling**: Once your priority date becomes current according to the Visa Bulletin, and your case is Documentarily Qualified (DQ) by the NVC, the NVC will work on scheduling your interview at the appropriate U.S. embassy or consulate. 3. **Embassy Backlogs**: Delays can also occur due to backlogs at specific U.S. embassies or consulates, especially considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on operations. 🗓 Book a consultation: calendly.com/jacobsapochnick 🌐 Website: immigrationu.com 📨 Contact Us: h1b.biz/contact-us 🔎 Quiz: info.h1b.biz/standard-immigration-quiz If you're concerned about the length of the wait, it's a good idea to consult with an immigration attorney who can provide specific guidance and may be able to inquire on your behalf about your case status.

Hello, After being Documentarily Qualified (DQ) for a CR1 visa at the U.S. embassy in London, the wait time for an interview can vary. Generally: Wait Time: For the U.S. embassy in London, the time between achieving DQ status and receiving an interview appointment can range from a few weeks to a few months. This timeline can be influenced by the embassy's current workload and any external events. Visa Bulletin: The CR1 category for spouses of U.S. citizens is an immediate relative category, meaning there's no annual quota. However, processing times can still vary. Stay Updated: It's essential to regularly check your email and the CEAC website for updates from the NVC and the embassy. Hope you are in good shape sir😊 my daughter applied 130 and we are already DQ me and my husband our priority date is June 4 2023. How long do we have to wait our medical n appointment interview ? Thank you for your time sir😊 from Philippines
Hello, Thank you for reaching out, and I hope you're doing well too! 😊 For your situation, with a Priority Date (PD) of June 4, 2023, having been Documentarily Qualified (DQ), and being from the Philippines, here's a brief overview: Visa Bulletin & Wait Time: Your next step is waiting for your PD to become current. The U.S. Department of State's Visa Bulletin provides monthly updates on visa availability. The Philippines often has specific cut-off dates due to high demand. Post-DQ Process: Once your PD becomes current, the National Visa Center (NVC) will schedule your visa interview at the U.S. embassy in Manila. After receiving your interview date, you can then arrange for your medical examination, which should be done at an approved medical facility in the Philippines. Expected Timeline: The exact wait time can vary based on several factors, including the embassy's workload and the specific visa category. Given your PD of June 4, 2023, you might expect a wait of a few months to possibly a year or more, but it's essential to keep an eye on the Visa Bulletin for updates specific to the Philippines. Stay Updated: Regularly monitor your email (including spam/junk folders) and the CEAC website for updates from the NVC and the embassy. Legal Consultation: If you face any uncertainties or delays, consulting with an immigration attorney can provide clarity and tailored guidance. Ok thank you for explaining. We checked my Moms status and it showed all documents have been accepted. Are we supposed to expect an email with the DQ status?
@@datolersway Yes, typically after the National Visa Center (NVC) reviews and accepts all the submitted documents for a visa application, they will send a notification (usually via email) confirming that the application is Documentarily Qualified (DQ). This means that all necessary documents have been received and approved, and the case is now in line for an interview appointment at the respective U.S. embassy or consulate.

Hi Jacop I’m current for interview for the Fy 2023 but till now I haven’t received any emails from the NVC or any 2nl and you know September 30 is the last day for 2023 what is your advice?
It's understandable to be concerned about the timelines, especially with the fiscal year end approaching. If you're current and haven't received any communication: 1. Reach out to the NVC directly via email or phone to check on the status of your case. 2. Ensure your contact details, including your email, are up-to-date with the NVC. 3. Regularly check your spam/junk folders in your email. 4. Consider consulting with an immigration attorney to get guidance specific to your situation. I am in f4 in canada. and my document been approve since feb and I have not get the interview yet. how do we know how many are they behind in Montreal Canada embassy .
Hello, The waiting period for an interview can vary greatly. Once your documents are approved, the NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy in Montreal to schedule your interview. Unfortunately, there's no public data available that shows how many applicants are in line ahead of you at a specific embassy or consulate. The timing depends on the volume of cases they are processing and their operational capacity. I recommend staying in close contact with the NVC and checking the status of your case online regularly. For direct assistance and updates specific to your case, please get in touch through the following official channels: Text Me: 619-483-4549 to book a consultation OR Click on the Links Below: calendly.com/jacobsapochnick www.immigrationu.com/ www.h1b.biz/contact-us Quiz: info.h1b.biz/standard-immigration-quiz Best wishes, Jacob
i got my case expedited and has been ready for interview at the Islamabad embassy for the past 3 weeks. i Even called to see if i can set up my appointment and they just told me to wait for an email that will provide the appointment date but still have not received anything yet. From what i heard and researched for expedited cases its 2 to 4 weeks until appointment date is received and its already been 3 weeks.
It's understandable to feel anxious, especially with expedited cases, as you expect a swift process. Sometimes, even expedited cases can face minor delays due to administrative processes or other factors at the embassy. While 2-4 weeks is a general timeframe, there are no guarantees. My advice: 1. **Stay Patient:** Wait for at least another week before taking further action. 2. **Follow-up:** If you still haven't received anything after 4 weeks, consider reaching out again to the embassy to inquire about the status. Remember, embassies manage many cases, and while yours has been expedited, some internal processes might still take time. Hi sir I am from India and my priority date has become current that is feb 27 2009 f3 category.. how much time it will take for embassy to arrange a visa interview
You can reach out to the National Visa Center (NVC) for your case interview date by submitting an inquiry form online or by calling their customer service line.
The issue arises from immigration lawyers making the situation more complex. Congress enabled faster family reunification through form I-129, but the National Visa Center's refusal to approve I-129 before I-130 and scheduling interviews complicates the process.

Processing times for DQ visa interviews in Georgia can vary depending on the current workload at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi. However, based on recent trends, you can expect to wait approximately 6-12 months for your child's interview to be scheduled.
Good afternoon. If I applied for the EB3 program and my case is in NVC, can I go to the U4U program in the USA without negative consequences for EB3 immigration? Thank you
Good afternoon! If you're considering participating in the U4U program while having an EB3 case pending at the NVC, it's essential to understand potential implications: 1. **Overlapping Applications:** Both are distinct immigration paths, and participation in one does not inherently invalidate the other. 2. **Entry to the U.S.:** If you enter the U.S. under the U4U program or any other temporary status, you must adhere to the terms of that status. Any intention to stay permanently while on a temporary status can be viewed as misrepresentation. 3. **Adjustment of Status:** If you are in the U.S. and your EB3 becomes current, you may potentially adjust your status without leaving, depending on your specific situation. Always consult with an immigration attorney before making decisions. They can guide you based on your unique circumstances and the specifics of the U4U program, as regulations and policies can change. I wanted to ask one thing, my husband is green card holder of USA, his green card is expiring after 6 months, he wants to renew his green card and also apply for citizenship, so Can these two things apply together and my second question is can they come to Pakistan after applying both because I heard that if their passport gets i-551 stamped by USCIS then they can come to Pakistan. Can come, is it possible?
Hello, 1. **Green Card Renewal and Citizenship Application**: Your husband can renew his green card and apply for citizenship, but not exactly "together". Typically, if he's eligible for citizenship (has had the green card for 5 years or 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen), many people choose to apply directly for citizenship without renewing the green card. This is because the naturalization process can sometimes be completed in nearly the same amount of time it takes to get a renewed green card. However, if there are concerns about travel or proof of status while the citizenship application is pending, he may choose to renew the green card first or simultaneously. 2. **Travel after Applying**: If he applies for citizenship (naturalization), he can travel abroad while his application is pending. However, he must ensure he doesn't have extended absences from the U.S., as it can affect his continuous residency requirement for naturalization. The I-551 stamp you're referring to is a temporary proof of permanent residency. This is usually given in situations like when someone's green card is lost, stolen, or being renewed, and they need to travel. The stamp is placed in the passport and serves as a temporary green card, allowing the person to travel outside the U.S. and return. If your husband chooses to renew his green card and it doesn't arrive before he needs to travel, he can schedule an appointment with USCIS to potentially get an I-551 stamp in his passport, allowing him to travel while awaiting the new card. Always consult with an immigration attorney before making decisions or travel plans. For detailed advice and guidance: Text Me: 619-483-4549 OR Click on the Links Below: calendly.com/jacobsapochnick www.immigrationu.com/ www.h1b.biz/contact-us Quiz: info.h1b.biz/standard-immigration-quiz Safe travels and best wishes! 🌎🇺🇸✨
Hi, I am waiting for my husband interview since Jan 2023 this is when all our required documents were accepted for the interview. Since then we are waiting but haven't gotten any call for the interview. its been 10 months already. its an immediate visa why is it taking so long. our case type is 'I-130 petition for alien relative'. Any help and suggestion is appreciated. What should we do to get the interview scheduled as soon as possible?
The processing time for Form I-130 petitions can vary depending on the USCIS field office and the current workload. To expedite your husband's interview, you can contact your local USCIS field office to inquire about the status of your case and request an interview date. If there are any outstanding issues with your application, they will inform you of the necessary steps to resolve them.
For a spouse in Saudi Arabia, after NVC approval, the case will be transferred to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in that country. The National Visa Center (NVC) will then work with the consulate to schedule an interview. This process can take several months, and in some cases, even longer. Here are the general steps after I-130 approval: NVC Preparation: NVC will collect visa fees, forms, and documents necessary to prepare the case for the interview. Case Transfer to the Embassy/Consulate: After preparation, NVC will transfer the case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Saudi Arabia. Interview Scheduling: Once the embassy or consulate receives the case, they will schedule an interview based on their availability and current caseload. Given the variance in processing times, it's a good idea to regularly check the State Department's website for the current wait times for interview appointments at the embassy or consulate in Saudi Arabia. You can also contact the NVC for updates on your case status. Submit a request to the NVC with documentation to support your reason for requesting an expedited interview. Hello! Receiving notification from the National Visa Center (NVC) that your case is "documentarily qualified" is a positive step forward. It means that all the necessary paperwork has been submitted and accepted. However, predicting the exact timeline for your interview can be challenging, as it depends on various factors.
Here are a few points to consider:
Priority Date: Your priority date of February 12, 2008, is crucial.
If you have specific concerns or need more detailed guidance, please feel free to reach out for a consultation:

Hello
Thank you so very much for your time explaining the process.

Here's what you should know:

Hi Jacob, How long does it take for CR1 to get interview appointment after DQ at US embassy in London, UK, where the petitioner is a US citizen?
Hello,
After being Documentarily Qualified (DQ) for a CR1 visa at the U.S. embassy in London, the wait time for an interview can vary. Generally:
Wait Time: For the U.S. embassy in London, the time between achieving DQ status and receiving an interview appointment can range from a few weeks to a few months.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out, and I hope you're doing well too! 😊
For your situation, with a Priority Date (PD) of June 4, 2023, having been Documentarily Qualified (DQ), and being from the Philippines, here's a brief overview:
Visa Bulletin & Wait Time: Your next step is waiting for your PD to become current.

'documentarily qualified' ('DQ'), also known as 'documentarily complete' or 'interview-ready'@@datolersway

It's understandable to be concerned about the timelines, especially with the fiscal year end approaching. If you're current and haven't received any communication:
1. Reach out to the NVC directly via email or phone to check on the status of your case.
2. Ensure your contact details, including your email, are up-to-date with the NVC.

Hello,
The waiting period for an interview can vary greatly. I recommend staying in close contact with the NVC and checking the status of your case online regularly.

i got my case expedited and has been ready for interview at the Islamabad embassy for the past 3 weeks. i Even called to see if i can set up my appointment and they just told me to wait for an email that will provide the appointment date but still have not received anything yet.
My advice:

The issue arises from immigration lawyers making the situation more complex. Congress enabled faster family reunification through form I-129, but the National Visa Center's refusal to approve I-129 before I-130 and scheduling interviews complicates the process.

Good afternoon. If I applied for the EB3 program and my case is in NVC, can I go to the U4U program in the USA without negative consequences for EB3 immigration?
Thank you
Good afternoon!
If you're considering participating in the U4U program while having an EB3 case pending at the NVC, it's essential to understand potential implications:

Have they run out of F1 visa
Hi sir my wife's Nacional visa is accepted she is frome Phillipines how she will duet her medical before interview or after 😊
I wanted to ask one thing, my husband is green card holder of USA, his green card is expiring after 6 months, he wants to renew his green card and also apply for citizenship, so Can these two things apply together and my second question is can they come to Pakistan after applying both because I heard that if their passport gets i-551 stamped by USCIS then they can come to Pakistan. Can come, is it possible?
Hello,

If there are any outstanding issues with your application, they will inform you of the necessary steps to resolve them.
hi i am dq at November 3 my priority visa bulletin is 2022jun when do u think i will be called for interview?
On October 11 ,2023 for I-130 nvc approved the case , my spouse is in Saudi so how long does it take for interview
For a spouse in Saudi Arabia, after NVC approval, the case will be transferred to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in that country. The National Visa Center (NVC) will then work with the consulate to schedule an interview. This process can take several months, and in some cases, even longer.
Here are the general steps after I-130 approval:
NVC Preparation: NVC will collect visa fees, forms, and documents necessary to prepare the case for the interview.
