  • I decided to purchase a Kyosho RC 1970 Dodge Charger so I could drive it rough for you guys. This video has loads of driving in the dirt, jumps, and very rough driving in general. Witness to terrible destruction of my precious '70 Dodge Charger body.
    See what happened to the damaged Dodge Charger body here:

    Just a couple things I noticed in your video. 1. Deans/T-plugs are actually a very common plug for rc.
    2. The decal stripe a cross the back was the most common look in the 1970 Charger paint scheme so that's why it had it.
    3. $300 is actually cheap for a good quality rc product but I'm sorry you payed over $300 for the Charger MK2 because they only run about $220 which is even more cheap for a good quality rc.
    4. Lastly, you can easily fix the lexan body carefully with a heat gun. Just take two small oblong wooden blocks and place one on each side of the bent lexan body at the fold. Hold the blocks and body with one hand right where it folded and heat gun the under side while slowly applying pressure to counter the bend/fold. If you do it carefully you will never even know it was ran over and folded. Its a good thing the lexan didn't snap/crack.
    These MK2 Chasis rc cars are some of the nicest cheaper street runners and have some of the nicest looking scale bodies. Blessings!🤙🏻

    To get the dings, and folds out of lexan bodies, heat gun. Heat until pliable, and smooth out. Some folds take a few heats to work out, some will never be the same as new. Personally, at a cost of $100/shell, I'll take my chances, and take it slow. Just me though. Good luck!

      haha that could be a rough landing! :D It would be cool to mod this '70 Charger into a '69 one so I wouldn't have to fear the landing so much. I've got a hobbygraded '69 General Lee (hardshell) which would look great on video. I'll probably do jumps on soft dirt so the hard shell doesn't crack in half

    Really satisfying to watch. I enjoyed the angles you chose to film from. I just had a question. Are these things built to sustain a lot of damage or were you particularly lucky for it to have survived the filming of the video? I'm talking more about the chassis than the body. I don't know much about RC cars.

    • @PrinceofMacedonVlogs
      @PrinceofMacedonVlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These things are extremely tough. I've driven a lot of my R/C cars really hard, and have yet to bring any of the chassis yet. As for the real car running over the R/C car here, that was insane. I couldn't believe nothing broke (except for the body). Thanks for watching :)

    Wow! This is So Cool! Great Video: i love this little model RC! Oh and i wanted to ask a question as well, Ive got this buddy and he is planning on trying to film his car but he can't actually jump it and got wind of this car ( And yes: That is a Lot of Money! ) And he got the idea that he'd jump these little RC cars whenever a jump sequence was needed... I wanted to ask: You said that they sell replaceable bodies? ( Because if they do im going to tell him that he needs to get one to bend a little to simulate damage. Even though it was an accident running into yours: it kind of looks cool to me because i thought these bodies couldn't be bent and that they were made from plastic or something... Thanks for that idea! ) How durable are the chassis and motor? And also: ( Ive seen other RC car videos and they actually have an angle on the car!!! I was So Surprised to see a camera That Small: Do you know of any small cameras like that? Thanks!

    • @PrinceofMacedonVlogs
      @PrinceofMacedonVlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks, dude! And yeah, Kyosho does sell these bodies (if not, you can probably find some on Ebay), but they are ridiculously expensive! But these lexan bodies are made to be very durable. They're not hard plastic shells like toygrade RC bodies. Lexan bodies are used for superfast hobbygraded RC cars because the toy plastic RC bodies would simply break/crack if they did stuff like in this video (i.e. jumps). Now these aren't made for jumping, but I still did it lol They sell miniature cameras you can put in your RC cars :D Try looking them up on Ebay. I don't know what they're called. Maybe do a search for "miniature RC car camera" on Ebay
