This Friday Fast Track Hangout presents: Shop Talk with Carl Bass, Machinist and Former CEO of Autodesk! Carl is joined by Al Whatmough, CJ Abraham and Angelo Juras as we take a live tour of Carl's shop. We'll see the sheet metal staircase, generated in Fusion, cut on the Haas VM-3 and and bent on the brake press. Carl's award winning clock, his custom teak cabinets and cabinet handles turned on the Haas ST30ssy, his custom MIG-Welding 3D Printer and printed vase! Carl shows his Autonomous Electric Go-Cart, a stainless steel chair that was 3D Printed using a robotic arm holding a MIG Welder, and beautifully crafted custom wood tables.
What happened to the sound? Very difficult to hear what was going on.
Look at me staring at my phone. I should have figured out a better way to get the questions and comments from the stream.
It was obvious that's what you were doing though.

Great video content but such poor sound quality is an insult to this great guy. We don't get enough exposure to Carl, how about springing for a couple of radio lav mics next time.
It is unfortunate the Audio was bad for this one. We did have an external mic that was clearly having issues. On our first live shoot (At Pier 9) we over engineered the setup and ended up with streaming issues. Several tests indicated that this setup was going to be the most reliable. The joys of live video:-(
