Campus Placement Interview of Mr. Shubhrajyoti Roy at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur.
Recruiting Company is Larsen & Toubro (L&T). It is a Core Company interview for Electrical & Electronics Engineering Stream..

Company - Larsen & Toubro Ltd
Venue - NIT Jamshedpur
The selection process included 3 stages. Now the panel had arrived on 13th September and they decided to complete the PPT & first stage which was the Online test on the same very night.
Unfortunately I was suffering from cold that day .
7 o clock evening - PPT started and as usual the HR professional started interacting with a group of around 180 students (who were from Electrical , Mechanical, Electronics & Production Engineering) who were in the race. I fortunately was successful to grab the attention of the HR with my constant sneezing ;D & few smart question and answers (somehow managing my runny nose) .
My confidence level rose as I had already made my impact on the HR
9 o clock - We started with the written test and then again I faced another issue. My PC got disconnected from the network after I had already logged in for the test & I was called by the HR to sit beside him and take the test again after he reactivated the link for me. The written test had 2 sections (Aptitude + Technical). To be honest it was really difficult to deal with a running nose and solve Quants (L&T Ltd had the toughest aptitude test among all other companies I sat for) and I was quite sure that the HR was feeling pity on my condition.
5 o clock next morning -

I somehow got up to take a look at my cellphone (mentally prepared that I didn't qualify the online test).
The msg read : Shubhrajyoti Roy Shortlisted for GD(non-elimination round)
8 o clock - I reached our interview center before all eagerly waiting. Within a few mins a car with the panelists reached the venue. I graciously welcomed them all as there were no one else apart from the placement coordinators and me.
9 o clock - GD started with me & 9 more candidates & the assessment panel consisted of two senior L&T officials and the HR professional. Our topic was “A ship docked in harbor cannot face the storms”. I was able to perform well and I could see that the panel were impressed by my arguments .
Within a few mins I was called for the interview
9:30 a.m.- The interview started (It was a one to one interview)
I entered the room(happy to see that I already had two previous encounter with this gentleman before the interview)"

Yes, you should ... But the key for any interview is not how much you know. Just try to impress the interviewer and prove the best fit for his company. Even if you don't know things, try to have strong defense answer for your weaknesses.

I hv got an impression of a clg viva going on here....where our external faculties gets impressed by our correct answers each time ...nd praises us good mr/ miss....😂

You can definitely make mistakes, No harm .. but thankfully in this interview I encountered most of the questions with ease ( Lucky I was )

How many days after your selection letter came after the interview ... I also gave the interview but we have not been told anything about the selection yet. Other trades have been selected but our college is not announcing anything with electrical trades. I talked to our training placement officer and he said we are still pending Left. We interviewed on April 3rd. please reply me

Sir believe me in this interview I already know about 90% question's answer but I'm not very sure about aptitude test can you please elaborate about aptitude test and what's the level of the questions

@@activebrains9205 No , It doesn't if the company's recruiting team is a bit logical and knows the right parameters for recruitment.
If they are Grade lovers then God help that Company.
However it (Grades) may be a primary tool for screening at initial level, but can never be a basis for final Selection in an Interview.
If you have low grades though, its better to prepare strong defence answer ( Reasons for your low grades) for the interview.
