In the encapsulation question(3:33),the varaible x should be private.otherwise it would be meaningless.
The example which he used in 3:02 is of abstraction and not encapsulation I guess

3. Give a reasonable explanation on what went wrong in 10th. Be honest.

I spent 3 years of my engineering doing nothing but just ensuring that I study enough so that I don't get any backlog..
A few bunch of companies came to our campus for pre placement offers (ppo) .. At first I thought I don't stand a chance .. but today I have 3 job letters with me ..
1) Software analyst at CapGemini --> 3.8 lakhs per annum
2) Associate engineer at MindTree --> 4 Lakh per annum
3) Full Stack Enginner at Accenture --> 6.5 lakh per annum
Trust me guys only 3 things are needed :
1) Excellent English
2) very basic knowledge of databases, coding and logics
3) Presence of mind during interview
A little OS would be helpful too
That Accenture interview is pretty dumb, in my college they didn't even take technical round. Some who don't have basics of CS got selected.
@@viveksabbani5342 yup it was 2 panel 5 candidate group interview ... But I never wanted it to be the hard way to be honest .. they gave a hint at the beginning when they said that the final interview round would be to check communication skills only ..

Due to councelling mistake and low rank i didn't got cse branch so i took EEE bcz it also deals with many cse subject like microprocessor, information security etc,
My university also demolish the rule of branch change so i can't change my branch. But i believe i still can get a job in IT field.

In fact the very first video of RU buZZIng on Campus Placement started with an interview of an Electrical engineer applying for a software job... Kalyan Kumar playing chess @ Yasu Technologies... Goutam might answer this question better but towards the end of this video he has given certain tips to both CSIT & non CSIT I think you can certainly follow his advice... All the best..

gear is abstraction or encapsulation?
Hi Harendra, I think Abstraction and Encapsulation are similar. From the perspective of Abstraction, Gear is in indeed an abstraction to user but I believe it can also cater as an example of Encapsulation because it protects the inside mechanism and gives the naive user only that much control as much as he needs. From that point of view, I quoted that example at that time.
@@go2bose I'd hate to disagree. Encapsulation and Abstraction aren't the same thing.
Let's take a class, now no matter what the visibility mode of the class is, it will always depict encapsulation.
However,only when the class is set to private or if atleast one of its member function is private, then we may term is it as 'abstraction' which roughly translates to hiding the unnecessary details from the common user, encapsulation is not necessarily used to hide details from user, however it's closely related to Modulation.

@@bhanuarora4504 hi, if you're from ECE, you will be automatically eligible for Service based companies during your campus placements. However if you want to prepare for Product based companies, I would suggest you to learn any coding language (I would suggest Java) along with Data Structures and Algorithms with basic concepts of DBMS and OS. A lot of online materials are available on these subjects. Build your concepts on these and simultaneously practice coding from Codechef and Hackerrank.

Hi, if the startup size is more than 200 employees, go for it. Startup and small companies are always good to start the career due to it's massive learning opportunities. MNC offers stability which you'll need at a later stage of life. That's my humble suggestion
