  • As professional athletes coming into any professional sports, you don't get to determine where you will play for the first years of your career. You don't get to pick your coach, teammates, GM or fans like you do in college. Sometimes it works out for you and sometimes it doesn't.
Here's an athlete it didn't workout for as of now. Here's 3 reasons why I think their growth was abruptly stunted. Who knows, maybe they'll return to form. I sure hope so. Thank you for watching. Please like, subscribe and share if you like this video and want more.
Let me know who I should do next! JC, Stunted Growth.

Overseas was smart. And letting your ego go isn’t a bad thing. Once you let your ego go, you can achieve more than you could with an ego. Most superstars aren’t successful because of ego, it’s their determination and killer instinct they learned when they were younger

I was genuinely happy for him when the news broke out. I remember he said he wanted to take care of his family. What a legend. I also remember traditional basketball media talking down on him for making that decision and saying he should have gone to college. And now we have one and done programs and players potentially skipping college for the G league and it's all merry and dandy.

I don't agree with the contract. You can't say he wouldn't have gotten injured, nor that Milwaukee would've been more willing to fork over the dough. He wasn't efficient, nor a great defender, but coming off their mini success post Michael Redd, you could see how and why he felt like he deserved more when you factor in his age and the 19 and 5 he was putting in. Going to Detroit was a major setback for him. On the plus side, he avoided getting walloped be DeAndre Jordan.

What's good, hoop heads? We gotta talk about Brandon Jennings, one of the most exciting rookies to come into the league in recent memory. Now, you all remember when Kobe dropped 81, right? Of course you do - it's one of the greatest individual performances in NBA history. But here's the thing - people often forget that Jennings had a performance of his own that was just as memorable.
I'm talking about the time when the young buck from Milwaukee dropped 45 points in a half of NBA basketball. That's right, you heard me - 45 points in a half. And yet, for some reason, people don't talk about that performance nearly as much as they do Kobe's 81.
Well, I'm here to set the record straight - Brandon Jennings was that dude. He was a walking bucket, a fearless competitor who wasn't afraid to take it to anyone on the court. And that half of basketball he played? It was nothing short of legendary.
Now, I'm not saying that Jennings was as good as Kobe, or that his 45-point half was as impressive as Kobe's 81-point game. But what I am saying is that people forget all too quickly just how good Jennings was as a rookie, and just how dominant he could be when he was in the zone.
So let's give Brandon Jennings his due, shall we? Let's remember that half of basketball he played and the impact he had on the game during his time in the league. Because while he may not have been a Hall of Famer, he was damn sure one of the most exciting players of his era.

Brandon Jennings was more like the next Kenny Anderson. Except with a better jumper, but nowhere near the explosiveness, that Special K had as a ball handler/playmaker. Now the brother I seen that was supposed to be the next AI, was this brother named Sirvaliant Brown. He was from VA just like AI, super duper quick, with a pretty nice handle. He ended up going to George Washington when Tom Penders was the coach. And had thee ultimate green light. It was nothing for Sirvaliant to go 10 for 30 lol. He was nice, but definitely wasn't the talent, that AI was.

I think the real stunted growth was that brandon was a chucker n very inefficient with his shooting.Majority of his career he was under 40% for his overall fg percentage and I watch alot of Milwaukee games cuz I was micheal redd fan.He still became a top 10 pick but I do think he shoulda went to college to work on his scoring efficiency

It’s the bucks fault. The front office made horrible trades. Coach didn’t let him be free. When he got a chance to be free you see he put up high #s. As a rookie you either play the system, listen to vets or do you. He changed the game just doesn’t get the credit.

I had a few SLAM magazines with Jennings on the cover.. He was so nice, but he was doing too much on offense.. I'm not a fan of guys that always hold the ball for more than 7 seconds every possession

Bra your wrong on that 41-1 Year, it was 34-4, the year after Tiny Gallon lead them on a 40-1 season

Yeah the first stunt isn’t true. 7 points per game as a pro is more valid than killing D1. Experience wise

I really appreciate your TH-cam channel well I definitely disagree with the fact you're saying because went overseas his growth. Was stuned if anything that's a very smart black man just because you go to college and play college basketball does not mean you going to the NBA and be elite player because you have done plenty of videos OnStar high school players that went to college and then went to the NBA and they were terrible so just because you go to college does not mean you're going to be a great player I feel like you made the smart decision by going overseas and making money off his name instead of letting a a college make money off of him and he had a great rookie season as well I feel like a lot of players that go from high school should go overseas like the guy from Boston College I wish she would have went overseas instead of going to College cuz he wind up hurting himself cuz once you hurt yourself in college your scholarship is now revoked and you can no longer get an education
