Thanks for the video! I went ahead and purchased my own as there was no room in my apartment for my drum kit nor would the neighbors have liked it much. For those that bitch about the drumming abilities of the producer of this video, it's about the kit, not a drumming demo.
I know this video is old, but as a fellow drummer my advice to you is to keep your elbows tucked in. You look awkward as fuck. Hope you're still enjoying the kit, and the pads haven't taken a shit on you. I just bought one for $500ish since the barracks wouldn't allow an acoustic kit.
I'm considering getting this. The snare, bass, and cymbals all sound quite good. But I wouldn't mind something that sounds like well-tuned, well-mic'd toms - without the pitch-drop thing that these all seem to have - good for some rock work, but not so good for a jazzy piano-bass-drums piece I need to record. All in all a pretty decent sound, though. Thanks for putting this together.
+DanielJohnston30 Yes, Daniel. The gall of this guy. All he has done is tested the drum kit and made this video, offering it up free of charge and helping many people to make a purchasing decision. But he has failed to give you Buddy Rich-quality playing. And, dagnabbit, as a citizen of the internet, you deserve better.
just a standard 3.5 mm auxiliary, headphone, audio cable. whatever you want to call it. both ends have the same thing so i plug one end into the splitter coming from the output of the drums and then the other end into the microphone port on the laptop.
yeah it has a 1/4 inch output jack to connect to an amp or whatever you want to play it through. you will need an adapter to listen through a regular pair of headphones. its just a 1/4 inch to 3.5mm audio jack adapter that you need!
Good video man. Could you do a tutorial?
Relax your grip on your hands, you will play a lot smoother.
That was so funny when you hit your head with the headphones

2:36 ... haha.. the double bass face1 :)
This was super helpful and funny when you hit yourself with your headphones.
ITS FAZE ADAPT!!!!
Can you show me the 10 demo songs that are on the dtx 430 K please if you still have that kit?
I think you’ll be pretty good if you relax and just jam forget the people are watching you I know that’s the hard part and why I suck.

Can i use double bass pedals on this ?
and it sounds like no velocity notes at all
you can assign the high hat pedal to play a kick drum for double bass. it works ok but you dont get that satisfaction of using two real pedals.
Adam Edward no you can use real twin pedal in this
oh yeah you're right. the pad is big enough to have to two hit it.
the bass drum pedal has an extra jack, so you can add another bass drum pedal, or add another snare, cymbal or tom. really customizable
I just got this set but it seems the cord instructions aren't right ! You think that could be a possibility ?
my kit sounds differnt
BWHAHAHAHAH Fail @ :29 xD jk...great video dude. :)
i really thought he was going to be a good drummer :(

I got this for my birthday and I played it and realized I can only hear myself play with the head phones :(
Buy a drum monitor or a p.a. that can handle low and high frequencies well.
can you play the kit when you.re lefthanded
Are you able to hear your dynamics on it
Thanx for the vid Adam. Definately convinced me to buy for my son...
awesome! my pleasure. Its definitely a well built machine. you're gonna love it!
What cords are you using to record straight to your computer??
just a standard 3.5 mm auxiliary, headphone, audio cable. whatever you want to call it. both ends have the same thing so i plug one end into the splitter coming from the output of the drums and then the other end into the microphone port on the laptop.
Hi does sound come out with and without headphine
you need a 1/4 jack for output either to headphones or whatever. i have the adapter for a reg aux cord
its ok
what is the diferent 450k and 430k?
bear bear the 450k has a triple zone snare but the 430k has a double zone snare
Listening with Sennheiser
same here!
Me to
What's the difference between the 430k and the 450k?
+DrumRapTech 3 zone snare pad
Michael Nguyen the 450k already has that
+DrumRapTech I meant the 430k doesn't have it hence the price different :)
the 450k has a 3 zone snare pad
Nice job
thanks dude
Does it hook up to an amp?

Cool thank
when he's focused he looks mentally challanged
Hey man, this is a real guy. That wasn't cool.
