Still a few improvements to come, higher quality footage (as its a big blurry atm) and maybe Ill start adding on screen tokens, when poisoned etc. The only thing I am still not sure of are the actual titles of the videos we use. Thinking about dropping the "LET'S PLAY" title on future videos.

We have discussed his losing streak many times but he demands I still try my hardest whenever we play! When we did Vampire Lord VS Artificer, I personally think he would of won if we didn't make some key mistakes while playing that face off. But we have plenty of Dice Throne to come so he is bound to win eventually!

Exactly. Interestingly enough, it's actually a drawback, because then you can't reapply Shadows, since it doesn't stack. There's a reason Shadow Thief's Ultimate is worded like this, it's the only thing that can naturally reapply a Shadow token. Since Shadow only stops damage from attacks, all other sources still go through, hence "start and finish a turn with this token to remove it" being a drawback.
Love that you separated the S1 + S2 randomizer decks to create a guaranteed S1 vs S2 randomized match. I've actually played a lot with the randomizer deck to get a random game with the exact set-up I wanted... For example, if in a 3-person-FFA we wanted ONE person to play the Pyromancer for SURE (to make the game go quicker), we'd pull her out, then draw two other random cards, then mix them up and distribute a card to each player.. then we'd play who we got. It's a great resource for planning your games.
Undoubtedly that Ultimate was where the game was won for you Victor. And a natural to boot! Shadow Thief is definitely dependent on getting that CP as a currency in the game. Chi works in a similar fashion for the Monk as does Fire Mastery for the Pyromancer. Another great vid fellas. Thanks!
That Ultimate was very helpful, I was definitely behind at that stage. He could of used his Mesmerize token to maybe force me to reroll but I think I had a card ready to use to change it back to a 6! We have another really cool Season 1 VS Season 2 on the way also! thanks for tuning in again!

@@BozzworthTheRogue Yeah mesmerise is critical to have up as much as possible for this reason, I also felt you should have taken mesmerise over bleed early when you had the choice.
You were supposed to keep the, "Shadows" token through your next turn. You gained the, "Shadows" token when you rolled an ultimate from your previous turn. After the Vampire Lord finished his turn, the Shadow Thief would still be in the, "Shadows" on your ensuing start and end of your turn. The leaflet says, "Discard this token after the affected player starts and concludes a single turn while under its effect. You were in the middle of your turn when you gained, "Shadows" hence, you have not started and concluded in a single turn while under its effect. This happened at 25:07
Exactly. Otherwise you could attempt to reapply Shadows every turn, which would make Shadow Thief one of the tankiest characters in the game, too powerful combined with Poison stacks. Of course, if you manage to get your Ultimate every turn, that's a different story due to how it's worded. And let's be fair, if you manage to get two Ultimates in a row, you win anyway.
25:04 am i correct on this you still should be in shadows right before he rolls offence because it states a full turn after being attacked on an offence roll..but you removed at the start of your upkeep phase....plz help im confused

As for strategy with the vampire lord she can be finicky but try to save up that blood power it’s sooo crucial to get 4 whenever possible so you can get those big time undefendable damage heals which if you had of saved up blood power from those straights in the beginning you could have won it even with extra poison damage you could have pulled off the win

I have a question regarding status tokens like bleed. If you have 2 stacks do you bleed for 2dmg or just 1. But you roll for just one remove. Then next turn you still have 1 bleed token. Wahaha cant sleep think i lost a match by not using status token right. So i started watching dt videos. Hope you can enlighten me sir knights.
Just say you have two bleeds you roll a dice for each bleed. So each turn you have a chance to remove both. That is always how we have played and we have never been told any different by commentors
Yeah thats what i taught too. But unlike the poison one it doesn't say per token. Well its game night again tonight hope we get to agree on bleed. Cheers more power. Do a six free for all ehehe

aside from the generic card back the season 2 components look sooo much better i really hope they rerelease the season 1 stuff at some point to make it match with season 2.
Hey thanks for asking. We start at 40 health to keep the video length a bit shorter and more watchable. We have a few ideas to do higher health matches and maybe even a 90v90 match.

@@TabletopKnights yes . You played it right. Undefendable as the name suggest just mean that you can't defend (use defense dice) . Shadow is an effect so it affects the undefendable damage. Ultimates are the only damage that is unavoidable so nothing can affect it even shadow.
@@TheWannawatch10 Umm mesmerise forces opponent to reroll a die if you roll a 5-6 on 1 die. Absolutely legal as the ultimate hasn’t been locked in yet. May not work but worth the shot to prevent an ultimate.
@@TheWannawatch10 tokens have instant speed unless stated otherwise so can be used on opponents turn, in this case to try and force opponent to reroll one of their 6s and thus interrupt the ultimate before it is locked in

At 15:19, you used Card Trick wrong. If you're in Shadows, you draw 2 cards, and if not, you still draw 1 card :) Love your vids! Keep 'em coming!

Undefendable mean you don't roll defense dice

Ummm you cant use tokens on ultamates...only way to change the outcome is to change the dice with cards
