As I understand, Magic mirror has its own OS. So if it supports a browser, you can pull the water level web page on it. Let me know if you are able to achieve it

Hello, is a awesome project ! , But I have some doubts about this project. 1:Where do you connect the LEDS ?, How do you connect the LEDS ?because it doesn't seem to me that I put them in the right place, they don´t blink at all in my experiment according your video and code. I use 2 leds with the right resistances for each one, so they blink ok with just a blink py code 2: how can I change the cron to 5 minutes no to one minute. I try to find the cron estructure in /etc/crontab , and is not there. And how can I stop the cron if I need it ? Thank you and hope you can give me a hand with it. I just bought you a coffee and I can buy you few more ;)😉
I am trying to carry out your project, but this video can only be applied to cylindrical tanks, not square ones as in my case. I'll try it anyway. Thanks.
Could this project be used to mount over a pond to monitor pond water level? In other words, disregard the size or volume of the container, but only look at the left side, measuring in centimeters or inches the total height from the start point(low level) to high point (flood level)? Is the app adjustable to increase the left-hand side so that it gives inches every inch, or at least centimeters every centimeters rather than just 5 cm or 10 cm as shown in your video? I really believe there would be a market for you to simply create this item in a plug-in play method. There are millions of water detectors, but almost no inexpensive wireless water level, measurement gauges that show you the actual inches or centimeters of water level for a pond, swimming, pool or lake, or of course, of a cistern or water tank.
Primarily the ultrasonic sensor measures only the depth. Yes, this project can be used to any kind of liquid level. In case of pond you need to figure out how will you mount the sensor. Also, max distance which can be measured using such ultra sonic sensors is limited to 400 cms. The video shows 5-10 cm change in level so that you can observe the change. However, there is no limitation to the minimum measurable distance. The sensor can record every centimeter change in level. This web app is created to simulate a tank or any Container. You can ignore the width and volume if that is not you requirement and only consider the level.

@@jitesh_helloworld I do not understand what you mean. I have opened the file and it is identical to yours in the video. I don't see that I have made any changes
it's tested many times by different people.. It is a working code. Only thing you need to do is to paste your auth code in helloworld.py file in first line.. Hope it works for you.

Although it is configured correctly in the util.php file, could it have something to do with my web host not allowing me to call the database water_tank, but rather watertank? The underscore won't let me use it to name databases...

Great Video & Excellent Project. Is it possible to check the water level in MagicMirror by adding the widget in magic mirror.

It says indentation error.. So just adjust the spaces in the lines.. Nothing to worry
