Just remember the numbers are flow setting not liters. Also they are not continuous flow at the higher settings. If you only use one or two liters you might be ok with these. I use 4 liters and I can’t use these. If you don’t have air conditioning in your vehicle you may not want one. They need to be kept relatively cool.

In reading about the differences between continuous flow and Intelligent Delivery Technology, it seems like you should be okay. Here is the information I reviewed: www.inogen.com/oxygen-therapy/intelligent-technology-delivery/ Please forgive me if I am mistaken, but I have the same issue. I have been using continuous flow oxygen at night only at the rate of 3 liters/minute. I feel like I should be okay because of the Inogen's Intelligent Delivery Technology.

I have a G5, I have searched to no avail and haven't yet found any explaination of the W- N- labeled slide switch on the automobile charging cord. It is on the end thst plugd into the car. It works fine, is even able to charge the battery while using the unit. I am mostly just curious 🙃

The flow rate is liters but the real deal is how much oxygen the machine concentrates which can be cked with fingertip pulse oximeter. Generator should excede 96%. . oximeter @ 96+%

"Up to (whatever) hours" battery life claims are always BS with POCs. Cut the claims in half and you may start getting close to reality with normal use. "Up to" assumes lowest setting (1) with a brand new battery in an optimal environment. My G4 claims "up to 5 hours" use for the double battery. On setting 3 (the max, which is pretty wimpy) my fully charged double battery dies after 1:10.
There's nothing wrong with my G4 or my battery. I also own a G2 and a G3 and see similar differences between the advertised "up to" numbers and the real world. It's just a sleazy business practice that's universal in the POC industry.

I have the Inogen G5 and while running, at level 3 it makes a loud popping noise. Tech support says that ‘NORMAL’. Not to me it isn’t. Using it a cruise ship in the elevator, people think its a ticking bomb (at least that’s the reaction I get). What can I do to reduce or eliminate this popping sound??

I ready to upgrade to G4

Don't do it! The G4 produces very little oxygen (setting of 3 pulse max). Battery life is pathetic, nowhere near what Inogen or an Inogen reseller promises. The G3 is solid with more oxygen output and better battery life. The G5 may be ok but who knows? Inogen and Inogen resellers who now tell us the G5 is great also told us the G4 was great. I have a G4 and a G3 and I promise the G3 is superior in every important way. AVOID THE G4!
