Thank you mate, it certainly seems to be a very capable tool, time will tell but if it saves me some time here and there I’ll take that. Have a great weekend mate JP 👍🏻👍🏻
I have a Saker, uk version. £50.00 on Amazon with a single battery. I was tempted by the Stihl but it costs nearly 3 times more and as a non-professional, I don't plan to give it heavy use. So far, so good. Cuts really well and the only gripe is that the chain tension is fiddly to adjust. The big advantage of these in my short experience of it, is being able to hold an overhanging branch while you cut it so it doesn't drop into the neighbour's garden. I bought some chainsaw gloves to go with it as I don't want my fingers ending up in the neighbour's garden either! Really enjoying your channel and your generous sharing of your expertise.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Saker, I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and you’re quite right, a fraction of the price of the Stihl and other big name ones. Thank you so much for your comment, glad you are enjoying the channel.. big things planned for the new year. All the best JP 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you mate, yes it was definitely better than I expected it to be, will have it on a job next week where I have a fair bit of small stuff to saw so will see how we get on. Appreciate the comment mate and all the best 👍🏻👍🏻
Good things, as a regular chainsaw user, that manual oiling would be too much ball-ache for me. Also, I can really only afford one tool so its a regular, chainsaw for me but you nearly sold it to me, you're right it does exactly what a gardener needs.
Thank you for watching, and appreciate the comment.. yeah I couldn’t ever have a manual oiling regular chainsaw, but with this one only being used now and then on the small stuff, I’m hoping it won’t become too much of a pain. Knowing my luck Stihl will update the model soon and include an auto oiling feature 🤣 All the best mate JP 👍🏻
Thank you mate, yeah the Saker was the first one I remember seeing, it looks good also, and then there’s cheaper ones on Amazon etc. This one is impressive and I’ve just found out you can buy replacement parts, longer bars/chains etc so it should last a long time fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Have a great weekend bud JP 👍🏻👍🏻
I bought the ferex one from Aldi £35 you will not believe the jobs I’ve done with it and I already had 3 spare batteries from a couple of drills I had, and the chain is still going strong 3 years warranty on it so if it goes wrong in that time just get my money back. Not that I’m bothered as it’s paid for it’s self ten times over now. I’m a big stihl fan but couldn’t stretch this far in my first year.
Wow that’s exactly why I wanted to hear from others who have tried different ones as I’ve looked at so many and read hundreds of reviews and the not so ‘well known’ makes seem to be getting good feedback. Some of the ones from Amazon even utilise the Dewalt drill batteries which I have loads of. Really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment mate, All the best 👍🏻👍🏻 JP
Great review mate nice bit of kit it will earn it's weight in gold 👍👍👍👍
