MetalJesus, I just found you and your channel about 3 months ago...but you sincerely entertain me better than most any other youtuber. So much interesting stuff I never even knew about. Really enjoy it! Just want to say thank you and keep it up!

I just discovered your channel man, but I really dig your enthusiasm. You share the same mindset as I do about games, which is you love games because you love friggin' games. You're not negative and you find something to like in just about all the games you show. I do my own game reviews and shows as well. Wish we could collaborate! Keep up the awesome work buddy.

Yeah, yeah...I know it's Elder Scrolls III. It just sort of rolled off the tongue...and when I was editing it later... it was too late to change it.

That was just Coke Zero...to help keep cool. While recording this video, it was 95 degrees in Seattle, and I don't have air conditioning...so it was very hot and muggy.

I'm a HUGE fan of Shogo. First played it back in middle school and I still pop it in to this day. I had massive goosebumps when I saw that beautiful big box. You scored big with that one, haha.

Some of the songs from the AC/DC album were released on the '74 Jailbreak EP in 1984 and has been re-released with the other albums, and they're also on the Backtracks box set along with T.N.T., the original cuts from Dirty Deeds, and other songs that were omitted from the 70's albums.

The CDX in the intro is actually a friend of mines. He let me borrow it for a special video I did for Gamester81. Sadly...I don't own one yet.

MetalJesusRocks You havent lived until you added this gem into your collection for vinyl. Luckily, I was blessed with my dad's vinyl collection and most, if not all, are in pristine condition, no damage to the jacket and or sleeve and some still have the merchandise slips in there....but, you havent lived until you have added Eddie Murphy - How Could It Be to your vinyl collection. Here is some info and yes, he sings on it - How Could It Be is the first musical album and third album overall by comedian/actor Eddie Murphy. The album was released in July 1985 on Columbia Records and was produced by Aquil Fudge, with the exception of the hit top ten single "Party All the Time", which was produced by Rick James. The album was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews but was a commercial success, making it to #26 on the Billboard 200 and #17 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Two singles were released: "Party All the Time", which made it to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the title track, which became a minor R&B hit.
Now I can say that I have lived fully and could die any day because I have added this one to my collection. One of these days, I will have to head over to one of the shops in my area that has vinyl and see if I can score the old Stryper albums all in vinyl and the icing on the top would be To Hell With The Devil with the original artwork, but yeah, that is my next mission - find those. Their new stuff is very, very good and if you liked them back in the 80's, this is a true followup, I feel and so does the band, to their To Hell With The Devil album. Captures the same energy and style musically.
But, everything you have shown so far in regards to vinyl, we have the same taste in music. Got to have the classic ones from the 70's and no ones collection is ever complete until they have the following: Twisted Sister - Stay Hungry, Ratt - Out Of The Cellar, Quiet Riot - Metal Health, and many more. Oh and its always nice to have those double gatefold albums as well that they released back in the day, but, I wonder if my Howard Jones album, pretty mint, Dream Into Action would be worth a ton in maybe 40 more years :)
Oh and here is the song Party All The Time by Eddie Murphy so you can enjoy this gem - Party All The Time - Eddie Murphy (HQ Audio)
Alrighty. Off to play some retro games - damn insomnia. Phantasmagoria it is

Shogo is my childhood! Can't remember who picked it up, but my brother and I would play that non-stop all the time. I wish they would release Shogo 2 though! That game needs a sequel and they have already referenced it in FEAR 2 I believe. Great pick ups man, keep the videos coming.

A Star Wars 'Special' would be really awesome and interesting - especially by an 'older' guy like you. In fact, you should join up with Gamester for a joint project on this, provided it would be logistically possible. I don't know how far apart you live. But your guys fanboyish passion would be a great combination for such episodes.

Lilo & Stitch for the GB Advanced is a great game, thought I was all alone on that one! The Wing Commander games never felt like I was actually flying through space, just always seemed I was in a stationary turret mounted on the bottom of a much larger spacecraft, but to be honest I really only played Wing Commander 1 and 2. Great video brother!

Look at that ultimate smug look on his face. If it gets any smuggier it could stay like that. I'm not really the biggest pc gaming fan but hey its always nice to see games that have been on your radar for a really long time finally find a proper home. I hope to see more awesome music videos with you and your wife, those are always my preferred videos on the channel.

I live semi near you MJ- where the heck are you going, thrift store-wise that's yielding that kinda vinyl and games? I stopped thrift store crawling years ago as it was generally too time-consuming/disappointing, but I'm willing to get back on the horse if there are some decent places to go in the West Seattle-ish area.

Congrats on the pickups MJR.Especially on the nes reproductions i think you will really enjoy sweet home, since it takes a rpg and mixes it up with survival-horror.Also a interesting fact about sweet home, shinji mikami worked on that game.By the way for that PS1 port of x-men vs street fight, that version is consider inferior to the sega saturn version.

Yes, I can tell by the video's the retro game community puts up online. Over here in Belgium it's the same story. I go to flea markets every weekend and run into a lot of people all looking for old games. Even a lot of people from the Netherlands drive all the way over here more and more often to find old games . Dr retro is just on another level, he buys big game lots for big bucks. Nothing wrong with that, but it creates jealousy amongst the collectors i guess ;)

I already owned the standard version of it so I never opened the CE. ... ... Also, if you want to play Sonic CD without a SegaCD I recommend the Kega Fusion emulator.
