The Lord has sent you - thank you. I was looking for this video for such a long time - finally I found it again. I used to watch it back in 2014 many times - then I lost track of it. One of my favourite shows from Carolyn, especially the ending of the show.
Carolyn is such an intelligent and inspirational figure for me to take light and knowledge from for living in the moment and dealing with my own inner discord and interaction with the outside world.
I love listening to wise people, which Myss is. However, even wise people can be unduly dismissive and glib, which she also is @44:36 in answering that lady's excellent and valid question about miraculous occurrences. Actually, miraculous occurrences do happen, divine interventions do occur, and nonphysical beings (including deceased loved ones) do assist us here on the physical plane to help us avoid disasters, poor choices, etc. None of us are perfect, including Caroline Myss. Glibbly answering a student's question should be called out and teachers, who are not bogged down by their ego, do appreciate it when they are checked on it. That woman is a student who is an 'active listener' and she should be commended for being so. Good for her not just accepting everything that comes out of Myss' mouth as the absolute truth, even if she paid to be in the audience. Students must check teachers, especially when teachers are not humbly checking themselves as they attempt to educate, be engaging, and be entertaining all at the same time. Unfortunately, here, Myss seems to be more concerned with discouraging anyone from possibly believing themselves to be in anyway 'special' than acknowledging that she herself could possibly misspoken in her class.

One of the problems I’m having with your teachings, Ms. Myss, are statements such as, “One of the… characteristics of the last 60 years is that we threw out the necessity of conscience and substituted a very meaningless word call consciousness.” I missed that memo because I’ve never thought of “consciousness” in the way you mean. I’ve always held to the necessity of conscience. I find some of your statements like this throw me a curve because they don’t seem to relate to me, and yet you spend a great deal of time on them. And so I have to perform some mental gymnastics to get to a place where I can follow along, because a voice in me keeps saying, “no, I’ve not operated that way at all.” To me, consciousness is an awakening to Truth, not a replacement for a conscience, which is a guide-no, “guide” is too pedestrian a word-conscience is our internal monitor, a truth meter perhaps, that keeps us in line with a higher truth. I understand our conscience may be influenced by our tribal rules/laws, but there is a deeper mechanism that connects us with Divine truth/laws. We know it in our hearts. We know it when we stray and our words get caught in our throat. I’m not sure where I’m going here, other than to say I get sidetracked by your discussion of some of our “faults.” It is hard stuff, this spirituality. I surrender to it, but that hasn’t worked for me yet-or maybe it has and I don’t see it. I may be missing the subtleties of spirituality. Edit: I can see where the lack of conscience is a problem in society.
As a child learns to crawl, learns? Society, tribes, nations stumble with new technology (printing press, internal combustion engine, ...) We r stumbling, some bumbling, super rich think prha: bragging at power harnessed. Death comes to all, fool, trillionaire, single mom. We are like the growth of a child, every age has its confrontation with technology. Every child falls and bruises it chin, and yet she persists. Caroline Myss teaches about miracles, grace, and compassion, but when I respectfully shared a concern during her workshop, I was dismissed and called a bully.How can spirituality preach compassion yet silence questions? How can miracles be about grace, but access to them comes with a price tag? True healing doesn’t punish vulnerability or profit off pain. So, I ask: Is this spirituality, or is it business?

I raised genuine concerns, simply pointing out that Caroline’s focus seemed more on money than spirituality, and for that, I was labeled a bully. Isn’t it ironic? A teacher of grace and miracles, yet questions about inclusivity or accessibility are met with dismissal and judgment. If spirituality silences respectful dialogue and prioritizes profit over principles, what does that really say about its integrity?
I like a lot of this but I don’t agree that ancient cultures had no concept of time. they sure didn’t have our capitalist concept of time, but they still had firm grasps on menstrual cycles, moon phases, days, seasons, lifespans. that’s all time. and saying the dinner with the angels probably happened because they didn’t think symbolically is also something I disagree with. just because they didn’t use the word like we do does not mean they did not think symbolically. before the word and the definition you still have the symbol itself. a skull representing death, a tree representing life, a lion representing power, etc.
I had to stop amd comment when you spoke about your midwestern accent. For some reason hearing you actually state that you are from Chicago multiple times was too obvious for me to actually pick up on. I have to make things difficult for myself, as a general rule. It wasnt until a flashback to the old SNL skits about the Bears amd the Bulls (John Goodman, George Wendt I think? Or maybe Im making up Wendt being there, I dunno) anyway thats when I finally 'got' your accent (which isnt much of one to me,ostly just the 'a' that you mention). I love hearing you speak, I hope you never figure out how to have the 'a' removed. It would just be wrong. I might even have to just stick to your books if that happened. Which, by the way, I use a text to speech british accent voice to listen to ebooks while doing other things, one that is no longer freely available or...whats the word...compatible with android since the last several major updates, and a huge pain in the rear to mod and sideload and stuff to get it to work now, but worth it to me. Its so realistic and soothing. i even pay for it some months if I cant find a way to hack things with current devices, as I think its not even possible with the most recent update, and have to go about it a different way that charges if I read over a million characters (which happens and which is meant for developers., and takes some work). My point is, as much trouble as I take to use that specific British accented voice, I so much prefer to hear yours instead. And when I get to the point, which wont be long now, that I am out of any unheard youtube (or other 'free') videos of yours, Ill be paying the $50 a month and be glad for the option to do so. And Im pretty darn broke. Thank you.

Therefore, if this woman posting her lecture was against universal law in some way, it would be the Law's business, not yours don't you think?
Caroline is in some ways prophetic---but I hope in the future talks she corrects her false information regarding Professor Karen King. The papyrus text that KIng claimed proved Jesus was married turned out to be forged !
