hi,i have freighliner cascadia 2017,and no star, ABS Light staying on DEF Light staying on Instrument Cluster loses communication,i check all fuses is good,so ,is that a CPC4 issue? can u fix it?
Hello Ming, The symptoms you are describing are in line with CPC4 module failure but I can't guarantee that is 100% the case. I would recommend you have someone in person take a look at the truck, or swap out the CPC4 with someone elses to see if it takes care of the issue. If you don't have one or can't find anyone you can borrow one from, then you can try heating or cooling the device gently and trying. If it makes a difference, then your CPC4 is the fault and has the common cracked solder joints issue. If it does not, then it can still be at fault and may simply have a different failure but would require further troubleshooting.
If you are going to be a competitor, all I request is you make sure to do the job correctly, no short cuts, no throwing the board in an oven, otherwise it gives the repair industry a bad name.
We got the ZM-R5860C Economical BGA rework station upgraded. We bought it on Alibaba from Shenzhen Zhuomao Technology Co., Ltd. Joshua, So far out of all the modules we have fixed we have not yet found the processor to ever be bad. I know ERD says they replace them and that's the way to do it, but it is not needed at all since the processor itself doesn't go bad. We also offer a repair service, if we don't fix your CPC4 we would not charge you. We do live test and troubleshoot the module and confirm it to have a fault before and after. If necessary we bring it out to live test in a truck, but that is rarely needed.
Did they have replacements available? Are you able to get it replaced? If you aren't able to find one, let me know, we can fix your bad one. If you are able to find a repalcement, can you let me know from where? I know a few people that contacted me saying their CPC4's got stolen out of their trucks and they asked if I had any for sale. Whats your email
Hello,
As a rule, we encourage viewers never to get contact information from the comment section as it can have scammers impersonating us. Anyone can easily copy our name our logo and add a period or extra space in the name making it look like it's us answering and then provide you fake information to lead you to a scam site or virus.
Always always get the contact info from the video description. Each one of our videos always has our official contact info in the description. You can also go to the youtube channel page and then select the about tab. Under there should be contact info and email addresses.
