    I heard about this slapping. Jim was going through one of his roughest times and he admitted he shouldn't of slapped him. But anyone who knows Jim Cornette knows he has a temper. And I am not saying Santino didn't have the right to get him fired but when you get someone fired don't ever go up to that person. So instead of saying Sorry to Satino which Jim planned to do he got fired from OVW. Which ended up being a good thing because it was that company that was making him mad. Because WWE tried to tell them what to do and it was not owned by WWE. But it just pissed Jim off because Satino snitched him off. A big no no in Wrestling. Especially old school. They met again and Satino didn't seem to understand why Jim didn't like him.

      He didn't get Cornette fired, he never went to the office but they found out about it, likely from another disgruntled employee. Cornette has Cornette to blame and frankly he needs a good thrashing to remind him how tough he really isn't.

    • @numberofthedevil977
      @numberofthedevil977 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doesn't matter what he was going thru he shouldn't have put his hands on him. Santino didn't get him fire management found out about it. Santino also wasn't the only person jim treated like shit.

    • @michaellee1244
      @michaellee1244 ปีที่แล้ว

      @BeeBumper Cornette is not the weakling that you think he is. Back in the old days riots were pretty common in the wrestling business. The crowd used to attack the wrestlers and managers pretty regularly. The whole reason why Cornette started carrying the tennis racquet was because he could load it up with metal objects and beat the rioters off of him and the Midnight Express. In Knoxville Cornette took a baseball bat to another wrestling promoter who was screwing with Smokey Mountain Wrestling Cornettes promotion. Sure Cornette is no Brock Lesnar or Haku but I guarantee that you would not walk away from a fight with Cornette unharmed.

      Listen Corny, Jim got himself fired. And he says he should thank him but he wouldn't because he says Santino was doing him a favor, but didn't know it. Spin it all you want. Cornball effed up and that was that.

      Its perception at the end of the day. I have listened to Jim, Santino and Boogeys POVs and I believe Jim just assumed a lot here, where booey was and how he felt about it based on his experience in the business. On top of it Jim shit himself yelling at Santino so that didn't make him any happier. I believe Santino was too green and in his head at the time and I don't think he had any ill will, while Jim was passionate about the business to a fault. Booogey was just stuck in the middle of it. Boogey seems like a nice guy who loves wrestling. At the end of the day I think its just people being human.

    Between the 10 minutes of pre-interview promotion and the terrible set & video quality, this Boston Wrestling MWF comes off as a seriously low-rent wrestling operation. As soon as I realize that I clicked on one of their interviews, I keep my fingers hovering over the fast-forward button. Straight AWFUL.

    • @NickRu-jl6tr

      @@bostonwrestlingcom I'm obviously watching some of your content because I am interested in it. The silly reply was unnecessary because you know quite well that a comment takes seconds and it is the first I've ever left for you. Furthermore, your reply addresses none of the criticisms. Don't do interviews on a set in front of spider plants. You should avoid looking like a 90s talk show. You need to go modern...the set with the pictures is far better. Throw lots of vintage collectibles on the shelves and you've got something interesting that we can look at. It will get you comments asking what the specific objects are. Maybe frame vintage wrestling magazine covers or those vintage house show press releases centered around Boston/New England cards. That always looks cool and remains true to the theme of your show. Cut the intro down by at least half and add it to the end of the interview. Hire an editor to improve the quality of your videos and, especially the intro. Understand that the intro sets the tone and is the first thing a viewer sees. It needs to be flashy. Get rid of the still shots you talk over and include graphics for your show. It would be amazing with a montage of short clips of the wrestlers in action, perhaps of the person you are interviewing. If they are short (I don't remember the legal length, but I think it is either 5 or 15 seconds) and you are doing your promo as a voice-over while it plays, you will definitely be able to use it as it will fall under fair use. You should end the shortened intro with some sort of image telling the viewer to wait until the end of the interview to get information on upcoming events, interviews and other projects. Also, it would be excellent if you include a time stamp of when that segment of your video will begin so that viewers who are interested in finding more content, upcoming events, merchandise and fund raisers can easily find it without losing your new viewers who will just switch to another channel when forced to watch an intro that drags on. Don't get me wrong, you absolutely need to start your videos with the very most important info you need to get across, like merchandise, teasing upcoming interviews you will announce at the end of the video, any warnings, a way to donate (like Subscribestar or Patreon) and, most importantly run it over the video clips I mentioned and ALWAYS have your unique channel identifying graphic. The intro shouldn't go over 30 - 40 seconds...people are cutting their cable cords for that very reason - commercials. You definitely need better equipment, including microphones (1080p HD cameras aren't that expensive anymore) or perhaps it's just a lighting problem. It is common knowledge that the state of 95% of shoot interview channels are of laughable quality. It's an ongoing joke. Why do you think that channels like Cultaholic and the especially horrendous ones like Wrestletalk & What Culture Wrestling are so popular? Great video quality at a fast pace. You have a chance to really set yourself apart and get a serious audience by hitting that sweet spot between superficial, flashy channels like Wrestletalk or What Culture and others with quality content & less ADD like Wrestling with Wregret or Wrestling Bios. The changes will come with more viewers, money and better guest options. Now, a comment of this length could be criticized as someone having nothing better to do. I suppose that the last line of my prior comment was harsh, but my criticisms were valid and I am always looking for more quality content so I will be hoping that you will make the changes and pump out great videos. I'm not a videographer, but I am a viewer who sees the things that keep my attention. Those are my 2 cents, whether or not you choose to take it, I still wish you good luck.
