Love this song but I wonder why she sings the chorus an octave higher live. They are playing it in the same tuning as the original. Odd.

she actually sings it that way in the original as a double track, hard to hear, but it's there :)
usually artists do that to keep the energy flowing, hard to be audible at times in a low tone
