Thank you for watching,

I'm pleased to say that I've seen arto perform a couple of times. but they were more recent, so it wasn't much like all the amazing albums he made all throughout the 90s & into the early aughts. I enjoyed what he did when I saw him, but I'll do deeply in love with these records he's made. I elements would've loved to catch some of these performances. I'm really pleased to find some here. thanks much for posting them.
I feel the same. I love Invoke, Prize, Mundo Civilizado, Subtle Body and Noon Chill. Check this film, maybe you will enjoy it like i do :) -> th-cam.com/video/Z4GVR8ISe2A/w-d-xo.html / at 3:25 they rehearse It Only Has To Happen Once, simply beautiful
Just when you think the song is too easy to listen to, Arto comes out with an insane, unhinged guitar solo and keeps you intrigued
Glad to see this one back on TH-cam :)
seen in italy in the same period..really fantastic
Lounge lizards
And Arto were catalysts for change
I'm 99% sure that the name of the missing guitarist is Gabriel Zagni.
thanks man :)

mmmmh ...
I really like the parts where he absolutely sucks shit on guitar. I know that’s his whole schtick and everything but it still blows my mind that he can sing in key but made no attempt to learn how to play.
maybe he should try singing in tune
YOUR RUINING IT!!!!!!!
that's the spirit :)
I dunno, it's a Marc Ribot clone, I get the juxtapositions but don't think it is executed well.
Marc Ribot has said he admires him, actually around the 90's.
u are so wrong
I love both and they are different. I like Arto for his Brazilian lyricism. Also Arto’s been around longer than Marc in my memory. Marc first came to my attention on Waits’ Rain Dog whereas Arto with his DNA, Lounge Lizards works which are at least 5 years earlier than Marc (he also joins the Lounge Lizards later for a few years).
this would actually be valid if arto wasn't around wayy before ribot, and if they didn't work together.
You are ignorant about this subject and would do better just shutting your stupid mouth.
