@@taan4120 Reminds me of Simp's old "Baka Mitai" videos that albeit not always 100s, the fight would go on and on until there's like one pawn and king on each side, and of course, the one that managed to promote and could try a mate, does a stalemate instead.
what about it? Just Kh8 and then the rooks are still forked, no? (Rg8+ would lose the challenge for simp of course, but the opponent doesn't know that)
@@Mmmm1ch43l Simp said: "Regardless of whatever he does, I can still take one of them" And there was a way for opponent to ruin everything in a beautiful 100 rated fashion. So, it's not "Regardless of whatever he does"
Wow, they were fighting for quite a while with that rook alone, I wasn't expecting a resignation, but it does make sense, there really was nothing they could do to win at that point.
At around 3.40 my phone died while watching this and I had to come back and finish it after. Another weird power outage just after he mentioned his own power outage issues is my phone a paid actor?
I know it worked out for you anyway, but you could have also played pawn to b6 at 2:50 to be more safe, I doubt he'd take a pawn protected by a pawn with his queen, he'd probably move away and you'd be safe to capture a piece next move.
Simp can reply to Nxe5 with Bxf2+ Kxf2 Nxe5, a zweischenzug perfectly suited to this challenge. Normally not a good sequence for black, but at this level and with this challenge forcing their king out in the open is perfect to set up further zweischenzugs.
Can't believe you didn't play 10...b6 after Qxa5. You're not risking a queen "trade", you still have the fork, and white may continue 11.Nxb6 axb5, after which you can capture either the queen or the knight next move.
Another way to do high ping would be that at every move you have to declare what your next move will be. Free move if the piece you said you’d move was captured.
Chess, but even higher ping: you write down the move you'd play in that position, but you play it on the next move. On the first move you play a3 or h3 (or a6/h6 if you're black) and then you play the move you wanted to make with a one move delay
3:12 why not block with b6 in this situation, since he didnt want Qxd8+ to happen. While the opponent could choose to bluder the queen or knight, it would still be less risky. Am I missing something? Great vid though!
Do one where he con only play on the colored squares of the last piece that was taken, if a white piece was taken last, light squares only, and vice versa.
So I have a question. You always say (or atleast you did in your old videos since I can’t remember you saying that too much in your recent vids but maybe I’m just forgetting) that pawns don’t count as pieces. Why don’t they? Is it a personal opinion/something to make it easier or is there an actual reason why they don’t count other than that?
Apparently simp is not a gambit chad. Real gambit chads never take back, they just bring out another piece to add to the attack. This rule does almost nothing if you're on the offensive
In other words, can you beat your opponent playing normally with an extreme time disadvantage? A standard 5-minute game would give him 15 moves. Probably doable, but it would still be smurfing.
If the opponent took Simp's knight like they were planning to, Simp would play cxb2+ which is a discovered check from the bishop, forcing the opponent to use the next move to save their king and allowing Simp to take the rook on the following move. Moreover, if the opponent did not block the check with the bishop, they wouldn't be able to take Simp's new maiden after promotion.
@@dinohall2595 oh haha, actually dxc3 came to my instinct that it would be a good move (before simp played it in the video) but i couldn't figure out why i guess i knew the discovered check in my mind but didn't realise thanks for the reply
He explained in the video that the opponent could’ve blocked with the rook. In a normal game Qa1 is the best move but with these rules it’s not as effective
Why? The rules state that he can't capture only last moved piece or pawn (which is convinently highlighted with yellow). In this case bishop was last moved piece, not the pawn he captured.
wait, did simp really just call out his tendency to get TOTALLY NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL power outages that only ever happen whenever he's about to lose?
I think few times he was winning when it happen.

The power outage didn't come because Simp forgot to pay the actor.

Chess, but you are not a coward:

100 rated chess, but you're a pin cushion

Huh.
3:34 why not oush the pawn for triple attack? He prolly just moves his queen away and you get a free piece without the risk

I had same question too. I wonder if he was trying to make another engagement bait just like yesterday's video
That's basically chess but recaptures are prohibited

Simp’s electrician is a paid actor
How long until Simp acknowledges he lost the last challenge?
Never. He didn't lose the challenge. The challenge lost him.
Probably never. I suspected the last video was a mere engagement bait

Your next sponsor could ask you for a challenge prompt related to its product/service, that way could be more interesting.
At first I read the prompt and thought "Is a pawn not a piece now?"
100 rated Chess, but you must pre move. If the Premove fails the video ends

Roll d6 each turn.
Pawn 1
Knight 2
Bishop 3
Rook 4
Queen 5
King 6
The number you roll is the piece you have to move that turn if possible.
