Personally I think you’ve got a great thing going. I don’t think there is anything major you need to improve upon. Not to say you won’t refine things further or add things. But overall the content is solid af.
An issue I have with the Afterlife mod is that soul trapped enemies going to the Soul Cairn is NOT lore friendly. Souls only go to the soul cairn if you bargain their soul with the Ideal Masters. Souls are trapped in the soul gem until they are are broken or used. The soul then heads to its respective afterlife. Anyways, great video.
@@YungFozz See the issue with them is they actually explain it incorrectly. They say that all black soul gems go to the soul cairn when you enchant an item. The issue is that that is their theory but its incorrect. It's one of those cases in elder scrolls where not everything you read or hear is true.
@@_kmatt_ What is your source for this though? I realize you could very well be correct, but going against a direct in-game source requires some explanation.
I definitely support getting Honed Metal, it really gives the blacksmiths and enchanters more room to be used rather than just item dumping, and it lets the RP'ing for your character have a little more oomph. So instead you can let that wizard stay a thinking wizard that doesnt dirty their hands with an anvil and let the warrior not have to grow a brain how enchanting works.
I got a bug with it where as I was trying to use the feature another NPC forcefully talked to me. Now I'm stuck with 9000+ carry weight. Not exactly complaining tho
Really like the idea of the blacksmithing one. I hope that will be in ES6. They are after all blacksmiths and not really shop keepers, which is what they tend to be treated as. The ghost one is also cool, because it makes sense lore wise, and would make ghosts a little more daunting.
yeah i'd definitely be down for that. It's definitely quite jarring having to grind crafting skills for specific builds just to not be underpowered and such.
That afterlife mod looks really great. I've had the Clean Up You Corpses mod for a while now and there is an option to send them to Sovngarde but that one was more manual and this one is more seamless.
thank you!! these are really good. and i like your voice overlay as well. also, your game looks really good. it looks like vanilla, but so much easier on the eyes, like how special edition should have looked
Know your enemy already makes ghosts immune to non-silver physical damage (you can use dragonbone and daedric too) and adds a bunch of other resistances and weaknesses to all the various enemy types in the game. Ghost flicker could be a good alternative if you don't want those other features though.
Be careful with Rain Extinguishes Fires. Read the mod page description with attention : it works by swapping every original fire source light objects with an equivalent made by the author. This new one have the ability to detect the weather system and act in consequence. No problem with that BUT the author didn't include a way to reset fires to their vanilla pairs. In other words, if you uninstall the mod mid-game, it will basically delete most fire object you've seen and there is now way to undo that. Also, mod that modify the fires and ices spell like Fire and Ice Overhaul (the mod that allow fire spreading and ice block formation) will prevent the ability to interact with fire object through magicka
These are pretty dope. I love the idea of the smithing one and the ghost one. I'll walk around with two swords like Geralt on the witcher. 😂😂I have to try some of these out on my next playthrough. Good job bruh.
The npc’s wearing amulets is like Nord Tinder. Like “oh Hulda is available, ah but she’s getting old and retiring soon. Swipe right. Ysolda is available. Ah but those scrawny hips will only allow for 9 or 10 children. Swipe right.”
Well, definitely downloading Afterlife & Honed Metal, I've heard of the rain fire one, but I read it got some bugs & that generally pushes me away from a mod, but I'll see if it's fixed now.
Amazing vid! Ghost flicker and Rain extinguishes fire are going to be permanently in my modlists from now on. I'm also curious as to what adrianne's clothes are from.
Some cool ones here. I do wish Afterlife had access to Daedric realms though too. It would be cool to visit my fallen Werewolf friends in Hircine's eternal hunting grounds for example.
Ok i'ts the first time that i run into one of your video and i simply love it... Your Skyrm modlist looks so cool. Sorry if I ask but... Do do you have a modlis that I can read ?
afterlife! I have sent over 100 to Soil can! But when I got there, no one was there? Some would have come to Sovngarde but no one I sent there is there? Did I do something wrong in the mod download?
Personally, i think this is how mods should be, small improvements on the game from the community. Not massive game changing overhauls changing everything in the game.
as always leave any and all feedback
My feedback is that your videos are great, good timing and you speak really well!

May I ask which NPC replacer do you use?

Great list of mods that address some issues that I knew were annoying but I hadn’t even thought to check the Nexus for.
