Yaesu FT-1802 Recieve Repair - Replaced Crystal Filters

Video of crystal filter replacement. The rig had gone "deaf". Wide and narrow bandwidth were out.

I have 4 of these. 3 of them failed within months of each other. All the wide filters.

Thank you very much for the video! mine 1802 has gone deaf as well... Instead of buying a whole new rig I will try this out first.

Okay, I attempted one of these. I can NOT for the life of me, DESOLDER the filters!!!
I am using a Hakko 888D, solder sucker, and wick.(which was completely useless.)
PLEASE HELP!!!
