@JoshuaBardwell analysis of the semtech 1121 datasheet......the transceiver can do 150mhz to 960.....or 2.4
Im wrong about the 800 part. Low band is an accurate description of the transceiver capability
That's actually really interesting. I wonder how far out of band the front end can handle. Like I'm sure something like 150mhz would probably burn up the amplifier with high swr.....but this chipset opens some doors for those of us who tinker
is there a pwm servo RX for this system?
Radiomaster makes 900 MHz PWM receivers.
@@JoshuaBardwell I am probably being stupid but I cant find on their site? D you have a link or model#?
Is the 900 legal in uk
It can be set up as 868mhz
May still not be legal as not lbt
@@Meonlymeagainthis product dont have any ce, so i assume it will also not be legal to use within the uk. Within the EU, it's indeed illegal despite the ability to run on 869mhz
Does anyone know what frame will be able to mount this receiver? Im new to FPV and I just purchased the TX16s JB version and the Nomad module and the DBR4 Dual Band Xross Gemini ExpressLRS Receiver. This might be a dumb question but I just jumped right in. I think i may have complicated or limited my choices on the frame now that i purchased this module .
You can use this module with literally any ELRS receiver. You don't have to use the 4x-antenna receiver. And for most uses, you shouldn't.
Considering i already bought the module , im having trouble on which frame to buy . I’m going with the air unit o3 so that takes up the 20x20 mounting slot on most frames correct ? Also where do the antennas on the drone sit
lol thanks I needed a break from her voice hahahahah
exactly!
AWESOME!
omg, I need to stop buying fpv stuff and just fly with what I already have. But probably after this thing.😀
I don't understand why you would need this long range, I lose DJI O3 video waaaaay before I failsafe ELRS at 250Hz.
It’s because there are other video systems, that go much longer?
Because my Walksnail system can go up to 50 km
too much yakking about irrevelant stuff. not enough stuff about the actual module : what's the precise weight ? what material is it made out of ? If I plug it into my Dji Neo, will it fly faster ?
You had me at the beginning ngl 😂
It’ll triple the speed of your neo 😂
Ok, you just won the internet for today, sir.
maybe this type of video isn't for everyone but for those in the know and with a usecase this stuff is really really exciting.
The shirt 😂😂
it say's "low band" because in EU is 868mhz not 900mhz..
"900 MHz" refers to the 868 and 915 MHz bands together. It always has.
@@JoshuaBardwell ok!
Now we need double freq receivers, it will be kick a.s
That exists. It's in this video.
They are huge😢
this is like I want to have my cake and eat it but when I have the cake I dont want to eat it and when I eat it I dont want to have it
Coming from the days before ELRS was a thing and rarely needing to fly further than the old 2.4 freq hopping protocols, this seems sooooo unnecessary to me
Donkey Kong 500 is going to change the ELRS game. I hear it's tested out to 80 gorillian kilometers.
😂
What’s the banana rate of the 500?
12:43 for my future reference and anyone else interested
Very gorillish
The problem though is not the radio signal but video signal.
That's only true because the radio signal has gotten so good. And it's not universally true.
Wow I’m first. Sup JB! Dang this module seems dope
I was hoping it was a multi protocol module... I want one that I can justify investing in to start using elrs and other off the shelf planes (and cars)
If they are able to build an app to get gps coordinates live on a map I’ll leave tbs
This needs to be built into a "boxer"
Donkey Kong obviously
