3 times for me. Met him 2 twice. Hand him autograph my arm. Tatted it the next day. The third time I seen him, he was looking for a ride to run am errand and my buddy gave him a ride. My buddy wasn't even a VP fan. I was jealous. RIP Big Vin. Miss you
Rip Vinnie Paul Abbott It was an honor and a privilege meeting you may you rest in peace and I hope you and Dimebag Darrell are having a good time in heaven much love and respect to you brother 🤘🤘😢😢
Vinnie and Dime were the best..they didnt have hundreds of YT tutorials showing every finger placement and hit..they are the ones your fave YT cover gawd learned from. RIP guys🤘
R.I.P. THE BRICK WALL.. I can't even explain how I wish to even touch this level. Throwing my Stix through the wall trying. ... allways much love to our ABBOTT BROS! THANK YOU VINNIE 💯💣🤘
Never seen him live unfotunately. Pantera were scheduled to come to Greece but 9/11 happened so the show was canceled. A huge inspiration on drumming and partying🍻. Rip Legend
@@bnrz28 I know I'm late to the show but this channel does have one titled Grave II that is just on Vinnie. I just watched it. Full drum solo. Hope that helps. Rock on all!
I just wanna know what drum module and how he used the drum module to get his sounds!!! I see the Roland triggers but I'd pay good money too get those sound samples!!!
As much as I like Charlie benantte when this so called pantera reunion happens even if he's using Vinnie's drums ( he won't be though because of his endorsement deal with Tama) I just can't imagine him sounding like Vinnie did , I know Charlie will most likely get each song hit for hit perfect ,but he has a different way of hitting his drums , Vinnie's style sounded like he was trying to break the drums each and every stroke , I doubt any metal drummer could sound exactly like Vinnie did , but I could say the same about ,Charlie,Dave, nick etc etc .
not a hellyeah fan at all. i love pantera & early mudvayne. vinny always been a drummer i've watched & got meet twice, him & dime are the coolest guys to meet
Vinnie is one of my favorite drummers. But this band is horrible. Seen them live listened to the records and still can't get into it. All I hear is mudvayne.
There will never be another like
Vinnie Paul the Brick Wall!!!!!!!
Hands of Steel

John Mcfall Vinnie was the man!
@@user-ru9gf7ky2y did the same man, he signed my arm next to my CFH tattoo & got it tattooed the next morning - Vinnie Paul for life 🤟🏻
That’s sick did he actually hit as hard as people say he did…?
My favorite drummer of all time
Gotta love it... surrounded by floor toms on a rack with upside down
sticks... the embodiment of thunder behind a drumset. My musical hero
R.I.P Vin.
He does not play with his sticks upside down. He's using "Rock Knockers" which are sticks with no tip, just butt ends on both sides.
Nah they're upside down @@seanmourning5023
You’re the man Vin!!!!!! You were my first metal show in 1996; UNFORGETABLE!!!! MAY YOU AND DARREL RIP🤘🏻

Holy shit. ..what a true blessing to hear such a kick ass drum solo

That wasn’t no solo, and not his best work either
You dumb moron!!!!
That was truly, an American rock god at work!!!
Rip Dime&Vin!!! 333! Light em and burn em down!!! 333
Perfect timing!👌🏻 Vinnie was like a human metronome 😄😁
well, until you put a metronome up against it... then not really close. But he FEELS great. Things are not supposed to be metronomic most of the time.
That would be Gene Hoglan. Love Vinnie tho ✌🏻
The Dude is on fire and on top of his Game !!!!!💯🇺🇸🦅💀🔥⚡🤘

Such a shame the drums sound so muffled on Hellyeah's records.
You absolutely right. Nothing to compare Hellyeah drums sound with Pantera drums sound. Pantera drums sound is much better and superior💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

took the wife to see them her frist metal concert. then vinnie was dead a year later..
0:57 This single hit on china and snare is heavier than most of modern fuckin' metal in drop q or something.
It helped that he played the drums w his stick backwards. It's a heavy "tone" w the fatter part.

Not even. Mudvayne was actually good. Hellyeah was shit despite the talent involved in that project
