- When Vinnie Paul was signed with DDRUM, they sent over this prototype kit to try out and we set up some backdrops in his garage and shot this video, no mics, no triggers, no mixing, just the raw sound of real drums played by the master himself! I decided that all these years we should remaster and reupload this video in a higher resolution. Enjoy!

3x state champion on the drum line and played highschool jazz band... People don't realize how good this guy really was. So versatile and always played wayyyy inside his ability.
He hit hard as fuck, fast as fuck. And was so damn creative. A truly blessed dude
We don't...? We don't realize that...?
R.I.P VINNIE and DIME.
He is Legend as his brother! Love them both!!!
Much love to ddrum for endorsing in Vinnie but I'll forever remember Vinnie with his iconic pearl kit.
Gotta love his groove
Those rolls and his speed.....
Thank you very much for this quality!
One of my favorite drummers! :)
Fuckin love this guy - miss him and HellYeah!
He also was an endorser for REMO drums.
He was an animal on the kit
Getcha pull
Right on Bob thanks for putting this up!
The Grove master from hell
Forever !
Amazing. He is my hero and will be forever. ❤🤟🤟🔥
hell yeah..well said brother...RIP BIG Vinnie and Dimebag ....
Second that
🤘🍻 Hellyeah Big Vin🍻🤘
Vinnie deserved better drums.
Sonor...😊
Very strange seeing him play something other than a Pearl kit.
Ddrum is a good company
@@namlu9979 Can’t tell from the sound of that kit. The toms and snare sound weird to me. Last drummer I’ve seen play DDrums was Dave Lombardo and he since went back to Tama.
I disagree. Could you imagine him on a set of Ludwigs??!!
Flea market drums
Most definitely. Love Vinnie but hate the sound of those dang drums. Needed to be behind a Pearl.
This is not 4k, what the fussy
He deserved better drums and cymbals
But yeah its his taste
Where's the remaster part? DDrums still sound like crap.
read the description, it’s a prototype, with no mics or mixing, the remaster is likely the video resolution
It's a raw sound. I think they sound pretty good. Its the real deal, not some processed shit
@@cern999 DDrums didn't last very long as a company trying to take over Metal. They're not the best quality.
@@madgascoin2901 That insn't necessarily related to the sound of the drums, you have the Nokia case for an instance
@@cern999 Anyway drums can sound better than that mic'd or no mic . Tama for example.
