@@HuChing-ob4kk Yes that's called a defense, getting your client off of a charge is literally the job of a defense counsel, Your argument isn't what you apparently think it is. Incompetent. I have tried cases as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney. A motion in limine, means that a party asks for a ruling at the threshold of the trial. In other words, the parties ask the court to make a determination before the trial, in order to avoid irreversible prejudice from being injected into the record. The court made a ruling, at the threshold, and the state ignored that ruling. To make matters worse, the violation included a prior conviction, which is incredibly prejudicial. To make it worse, the violation also includes a pretrial order to disclose all demonstrative aids the State intended to use in opening, more than a week prior to trial. This is an embarrassment. The State is either grossly incompetent or deviously unethical. 100% unnaceptable. The defense has already been denied effective counsel, through no fault of the defense attorneys. The mistrial should have been granted.
