Personally, I think doodly is much easier and more comfortable to use. However, doodlemaker has one great advantage. The hands can not only draw but also push objects into the visible area. Which makes more sense for many than having a pencil drawn. I hope that doodly will make improvements!
Whats the point if DM doesnt have delays before moving on to the next slide ? I would prefer a 3 to 5 second delay so the message sticks a bit with the viewer before moving to the other slide. It just cuts off and disappears to the next one. Too mechanical, less people friendly ?
This is one of the best videos I've seen on comparing Doodly to another Whiteboard Animation software program! Thanks so much for Sharing it. The one thing I wish you had covered in more depth was why you feel the monthly options for Doodly aren't worth it. I concluded you felt that if you get the program for $67, paying a couple hundred dollars for add-ons would be much smarter than paying a monthly fee to access most or all of them.
@@Big-GVideo Your calculations make good sense. Doodly absolutely aggressively upsells add-on software packages, no matter what you select. One thing I do really like about the monthly option is that you can cancel at any time.
Thanks a lot for such an informative video.. it's good to see how you reply the comments and give your suggestions.. glad to see genuine person like you..
I would like to state that I am not being paid nor sponsored for this review. All products have been bought by me. Are you confusing upgrades with software updates?
Yes I had the standard plan. I took a refund in the end as I was unhappy about a bug which caused projects to get screwed up. I've not rebought it since
Yes that's correct DoodleMaker runs through a web browser, so you can use it on an iPad. I'm not sure how good the experience will be, but it can be used. Doodly won't work on an iPad as it is PC or Mac only. Hope that helps
i think that another thing that should be covered is that doodle maker is on the internet browser which means that it can't be used without internet while doodly can be used without the interent
Good comparison video. Thank you. Ohhhh Doodly has no voice over option. I like that Doodlemaker has several languages. Doodly is monthly, I don't see an option for a 1x purchase. It's $39 & $69 monthly. Doodle Maker is $67 1x.

Good evening, thank you so much for your video. Can I pls ask if the text to voice in Doodlemaker good enough to use or very robotic? Also is that right we need to buy rainbow add on in doodly to have color images in the library? What about in Doodle maker? Do we need to buy any rainbow add on to have color images? Thank you very much.I am making education videos for children,so i would like to have some good color images.Appreciate your help.
This is a great set of questions. Is the Voice in Doodlemaker suitable? I think it's fine, but all Text To Speech sounds just a little robotic whatever platform you use. DoodleMaker is fine for me. You will need to buy rainbow add on to have colour asset that come with Doodly or Enterprise upgrade. If you uploaded your own image this would be the colour you uploaded it as. DoodleMaker has assets that are coloured as a default with no upgrade needed. I personally would go with Doodly for kids as the characters will be better. Thanks for your comment
Both products have different style of boards (e.g. whiteboard, chalkboard etc). If you're a teacher you may like VideoScribe as they have educational discounts. Personally, I'd go with Doodly out of all 3.
Hi Big G photo, an incredible job, thank you very much! but I have a question, in any of them can you insert external video for example from After effects? Thanks again

It's very informative. Many thanks for your review. During Covid-19 pandemic, I could not go to the field to provide training to people. I think I need to create videos for them to watch and train them online. But I am not sure which one should I purchase because I have no experience on doing this. Could you please advise me. Thanks in advance.
@@Big-GVideo Thanks for your reply. I am Cambodian. My training is focus on how the district and commune officers (government officers) can provide better service to community related the implementation of health and nutrition women and children under 2 years old such as planning preparation, implementation, assessment, monitoring and reporting etc. So far my team has created slide presentations with related topics and delivered to them directly at the district/commune level. During the Covid-19 pandemic, my team could not meet and train them directly at the field any more and our training was stuck. We consider to find other alternative ways to continue delivering knowledge and skills to them such as making series of short videos with text adding and send to them for watching and learning in FB or Telegram groups. This is a bit of a disingenuous review. You should have made actual videos from start to finish rather than pasting "this is an example" as most people will never do that. I have both software and while the goal is to create doodle videos both do them very differently. Doodly is a similar if not a clone of Videoscribe which is focused on black and white doodle videos and sketch videos. The problem with this is the time it takes to create such videos from scratch (which is why you conveniently did not make a full 30 second or 1 minute with comparison). It would have taken you at least 5 hours to put together a 30 second video with Doodly simply with the way the application works. This is why your review is wrong as you should actually make a full 30 second video with both and show the complications that you face. Doodle Maker is more catered to people who can quickly create videos with their text to video conversion technology with text to speech built in. Since Doodle Maker uses text to speech engines of Amazon and Google with well over 100+ voices and languages, they are actually paying for every single audio that's generated, I am sure the costs are exorbitant for them even when they are offering for just $49 one time payment. They also added path mapping system recently for free which means every single one of their millions of assets can be drawn and mapped similar to Doodly. Also, Doodly upsells are very expensive and never ending. With no text to speech and no color doodle assets unless you upgrade, it can get very expensive.
So are you saying for investment return of time, doodle maker wins hands down? I've done a lot of video editing and presentations and stuff in the past, and it is extremely time-consuming. It would be nice to have a strong set of pros and cons. User friendliness is huge, locus of control and flexibility. I'm glad you posted your comment to provide perspective
