Bully beef is a Britsh term, used commonly from the first world war when for Tommys in the trenches , it was dished out as a meal substitue. later, the term was taken back to the rest of the world :-)
I agree with you, seeing a lot fat in corn beef or any meat, turn me off. I ordered a Reuben when I got it, there was so much viable fat that after a few bites I was done. Since I'd paid for it. A couple of these recipes sounded good, the Philiene and Irish but I enjoy the classic Hash with sunnyside eggs, toast, and coffee.

I like Libbey's or Hormel from the can, I have tried others that were more fat than anything so I stick to these two.
