It feels like Konami has no idea what to do with the deck besides the first wave of support. I don't know why they didn't just focus on having the deck be based around a consistent and sustainable advantage loop. Its a fun and fairly unique gimmick that just turned into random effects that don't do anything.

The hilarious part about white dandylion is that the original dandylion actually had a clause to *prevent* the fluff from being used to tribute summon, which is now the best use for them. He’s become the very thing he swore to destroy.

Salad’s endboard is now consistently Link 4 + both traps + recycle gazelle + draw 2. Any hand that gets to two 3s + 1 material can make that board by making splash mage, making stallio, using wheesel to summon back gazelle, making heatsoul, and then making Phoenix and using stallio eff to bounce gazelle. Gazelle sends Roar, roar resets itself, and Phoenix searches Rage.
The Salamangreat Link 4 is actually kinda insane. It lets you get Roar + Rage for FOUR turn 1 if you open Spinny + Gazelle, and you can make Heatsoul on your way to it so you can draw a card on top of it.

That battlin boxer spell card is deceptively powerful. The battle destruction is for all monster, so you can use the card offensively when you try to go for lethal. And its quickplay so its not as telegraped when you draw it.
Yeah, I'm surprised MBT didn't notice the contradiction between "unsearchable" and "heavily telegraphed". Your opponent is rarely gonna consider this card as a factor if you draw into it, especially since there's no way you're playing this card at 3. If it was the only backrow the deck had, sure, but we know it isn't.
Honestly, the new main deck monsters are really good even without the synchro, and there is a case for synchro with its reborn effect, but everything else doesn’t do enough to be relevant. The lv3 being able to special itself can fix one of salads big problems in that a lot of times if you’re not playing/don’t open a circular line you can’t play if your normal/link climb is stopped early. The lv5 not only specials itself with a discard, but also enables the lv3 since you’ll have salads in grave, one from the discard and one from linking the lv 5 off. It also is sometimes a level 4 for a mathmech or bagooska play
Also while the syncro might not be good in salad, and it most likely not good enough to have a spot in its already thight extradeck, it is a good generic fire syncro. I could 100%ses it being abused in another fire syncro deck
The idea of Seventh Force supporting every single Emperor except the female one for absolutely no reason is comedy gold and also really sad considering how the show treats female characters
What if they allowed you to search a card from the archetype of the over 100 number you summon? For example summon number 101 and can search a shark or number 105 and can search a battlin’ boxer
You can make raging phoenix, use sanctuary to make it again and search charge, activate sanctuary on the battle phase, make raging phoenix 0 attack, either have it die by battle or chain charge, revive the first raging phoenix at 5600 atk. That sounds...convoluted. If only raging could do something else, maybe, idk, something actually useful.
You don't have to make it 0, and that would be the worst way to go about it too. You can set up a weak normal summoned monster as the intended target, plus any other could also be summoned, each possibly chaining their own effects. This can have expanded potential with experimentation.
raging Phoenix is insanely useful, it allows you to search both traps consistently since roar can set itself and you don’t lose out on recycling gazelle because wheesel can summon it back and you can bounce it with miragestallio
@@kotkafer2292 the problem with that is accesscode is a one way trip. If accesscode fail to kill, you lost your ability to pivot back to defense. Raging Phoenix can pivot back to defensive after going aggro, which is a very important part with midrange deck. Oh, and how does raging goes aggro? Search salamangreat claw. And if you have Revive in the GY, you can make Raging a 5600 quadruple attacker that revive, and cannot be destroyed. And you can protect raging or the equip with balelynx.
The Link 4 is an OTK enabler, which would be great if Accesscode didn't exist and Salads are Cyberse and literally why run two copies of this card when you can just do an Accesscode line.
how does it enable OTKs? One of YOUR monsters has to get destroyed, most salads are pretty tiny, and if you're summoning anything bigger you probably can OTK already or are just in an otherwise good spot
You CAN search Seventh Force with the Spell Card Seventh Ascension, or use its effect with Barian's Chaos Draw. I'm not sure if it's worth using either of those (especially the latter), but it's something.
Technically can't use Barians chaos draw to activate seventh force since it only activates in the main phase but you can use chaos draw to search seventh ascension and then search seventh force
I appreciate that MBT recognizes that raging phoenix is not completely trash. I think that it at least could be playable in cyberse spam decks to get roar as another interrupt.
Many people for some reason overlook that they don't lock you into anything. You can literally just play generic synchros like borreload savage and baronne now.

I think some people were pointing out Fire Fist Horse Prince as an option with Wheesel, but you can use the same materials for Miragestalio so I don't see the point unless you're tossing in non Salad fire monsters. Sounds like jank to me, but it could be something worthwhile I guess.
On the internet, if something's not great, it's garbage. In reality these are mostly just fine. The problem is just being 'fine' makes something nearly unplayable. Although, searching Will of the Salamangreat off Phoenix and special summoning 4 Salads from the Hand/GY to continue Link summoning could be fun! There might even be shenanigans with giving the opponent the 1st Phoenix off Wheesel and searching Burning Draw with the 2nd Phoenix to draw 5 cards in total, that's interesting right?! And now Salads can even access Baronne! That's cool, RIGHT?!?!? In reality, until Accesscode Talker is gone and Cyberse decks (and many other decks) are free from the oppression of being forced to play it as their win condition, something like Phoenix will likely never see play.
“Slightly worse than what already exists” is already “unplayable”. Salad hasn’t been good outside of it’s best cards splashed in a better deck for a long time. People are right to be harsh.
Not on the first turn unless you try to do Mathmech stuff and it getd hit by a Bystial, or they have something like Havnis/Gamma/Phantazmay to bring out in your opening plays, but anytime after that you can probably pull shenanigans.
The Tuner Salamangreats are kinda useful as one offs. Maybe even letting them access other synchro. Raging Phoenix is weird. As a supposed fusion of Pyro phoenix and the link 3 Ignister card, one would think it would at least have a burn damage related effect. About the rest of the support.... I don't know. One would you think the support would at least try to focus even more on the "rencarnation" gimmick and the "battle related" effects other cards like violet chimera and heatleo do, and force you into aking it work, considering they introduced the last member of the reincarnation gimmick (the synchro). maybe even make the synchro at least a quick effect as reference to "clear mind" effects.
Thoughts. 1)SS itself then +1 as give your opponent a Link Mat. An extender but who needs it when we can just unlimit our limited Salad card. 2)Synchro Salad tool.(Meh) 3)A Link 4 that can search upon RLS and res itself every turn upon a Salad being bonked. High investment but low returns as you most likely use it for an Accesscode Mat at T2 and a T1 Option along with Sunlight Wolf. Sunlight Wolf alsp helps people who just SS monsters in their Link Arrows than the new Link 4. 4)Salad Synchro, Great Fire Support which can SS the Fire Cow Graceful Charity and your Salad Monsters for a combo starter, but it has no protection and has too much investment for a Salad Deck which does OTKs via Accesscode. In a Grindy Salad Deck its a great option, but not for a meta Salad Deck. 5)Either a Recycler and an extender OR a Pop with requirements. Not good but not bad either. 6)Monster Reborn but Trap. Might as well make it as a Spell Card but restrict it to Salad and it makes no difference. Yep. From a meta standpoint its mid but for a functioning and balanced deck its working fine as it is as well as it fit its theme quite well than just giving the archtype generic effects we see all day long in other decks like OPt Omni-negate, A Pop, etc.
The kinda sad thing to me is that Heatsoul is still far and away the best thing to end on for salad going first. They could've really easily given the new link 4 some kind of similar tempo effect to facilitate your deck's grind game, maybe a soft floodgate eff attached to it, but instead it's just a rota and a revival effect
I think one thing that's pretty neat about the new tuners (teeger specifically) is that they now give salads a means to get into Baronne and Borreload savage dragon. Granted, I don't know how easy that's gonna be for a turn 1 end board but it still pretty cool.
It's not that difficult, just off the top of my head: -Open with Jack Jaguar and Gazelle (or more likely Circle/Mining to search it) -Summon Jaguar -Link into Balelynx -Bale CL1, Gazelle CL2 -Gazelle dump Spinny -Revive Spinny, overlay into Stallio -Stallio summon Teeger -Bale + Stallio into Sunlight Wolf -Shuffle Stallio to revive Jaguar -Wolf returns Gazelle to hand -Increase Teeger's level -Teeger + Jaguar into Baronne The real question is if it's actually worth it compared to just going into Heatsoul or Roar/Rage.
i just realized you can phoenix the phoenix since you tribute 1 copy for the reincarnation, like garunix used to back in the day but not as good and it would keep gaining 2800 each time
For the Raging Phoenix, you need two. They are pushing the second linking gimmick further by making it a way to extend a play. They set the effects up to both facilitate and depend on the mechanic.
The seventh card is searchable. It's pretty far and away the best card to search off seventh ascension imo. Barian/seventh/100+ decks are pretty bad but for what the deck is (fun pet deck for low power play) this card is great.
The only thing that hold it's back is the bp condition Like it could have been a fun card in battling boxer(literally shows in card art) but that condition ruins all kind of fun interaction
@@13thKingMu I mean if you're using it to summon the intended monster you would be summoning one you mainly want for the battle phase. Same with the other less optimal C battling boxer which only gets it's battle phase effect.

The only nice thing I can say about Dandy White Lion is that I vastly prefer what they did here, printing an underpowered retrain of a classic card, rather than going back and errata'ing the old one. More of this, please.
An important question to ask is: Would you add any of these new cards into the current competitive build of Salads? I've only seen the deck's gameplay from Coder but I'll have to guess no...
Well you can , but the problem is like the ratio like the phoenix is fine but what you want to swap with, you can play the tuner to make something like barrone or borrel because the only lock you has is mirage stalio, but again theirs a lot better build like with the mini firewall stuff and mathmech to facilitate other stuff.
Probably put in raging phoenix if you can make it, the rest seem bad. Dont have space for synchros so the main deck monsters arent even a consideration. Maybe the revive spell that doubles as conditional pop.

I don't get why people don't see the utility in Salamangreat Charge. You throw a Sunlight Wolf and something else probably Baelynx into the Extra Deck, summon a SW who yes can't attack or use his effects but then you just Re-Link it into a fresh one. Pretty good. And as a Quick Play, you could with set up throw a Pyro Phoenix back and Re-Link one on the field with Transcendence to blow up the board. You know, if you're into that sort of thing!
honestly it's in theme, Salad have never been an explosive or impressive deck some of the strongest Salad end board just make you go: what that's it ? but then you realize how solid and resilient it is
I just want to point out that Charge's pop effect isn't that bad. Heatsoul pointing to literally anything turns it on, as does Transcode + Sunlight Wolf, which aren't the *worst* monsters for Salad to end with. Also, I think it's funny that you can use the synchro to revive a level 4 and go into Blaze Dragon. Not at all good, just funny.
You can make the new firewall link 6 I guess, go Raging Phoenix, link off into Raging Phoenix, search will, summon back 4, go Raging Phoenix and 2 monsters for Singularity, use the other 2 for the synchro, use Singularity to bring back the level 5 tuner, use the synchro to bring back a level 3, 5 + 5 for Baronne, and then if you have anything left you can make Miragestaleo and get another guy into rotation. Only problem is, you need to do the whole thing with no Miragestaleo and the end board isn't even that much better than Roar pass with guaranteed kill next turn.
The dandy white lion i think might be good combined with cards that require 3 of the same monster. The avatars (like the wicked avatar), 3 of a kind trap, etc. Maybe could be triggered during opponent's turn so it doesn't affect your extra deck plays.
Reincarnate summon gryphon to summon itself later, use it to suicide attack monster then summon RP with the 5600 boost. Use that spell now the destroy monster or anything else then use the trap to make it 8400 for big damage.
I really want a battlin' boxer card to read "if this card either destroyed by battle, or by boxing, *insert effect*" I can already hear Joseph reading it out.
See, I feel like when new cards are released, and people are like “These are bad” or “These are alright”, it’s just sort of waiting for a Master Roulette moment of “Here’s what they don’t know….”. Not saying it’ll happen, but I’d be interested to see some crazy combo, and what can be done with the Synchro’s SS effect. I’m sure there’s *something* cool or interesting that can be done.
at the least with the quick play old phoenix could be a bad telegraphed boardwipe and they made the retrain a searcher because salaman was starving for another one
If you want to toss sycnhro plays into a cyberse deck then your better off splashing Icejade Aergirine Ran into Marincess, its both an extender for a deck or a free Gymir/Chengying.
I'm not too fond with Salamangreats but the new cards seem decent and not as bad as many people pointed out. Albeit, Salamangreat needs more boss monsters instead of extenders.
I would've loved if Raging Phoenix was able to treat itself as Pyro Phoenix while on board to give you an incentive to actually play Pyro Phoenix for that board wipe-incase shit happens and you need that nuke.
9:09 This is not a cope, this is a legitimate thing to ask for. Every discussion about every single new Link-4 amounts to "why use this over Accesscode Talker?". There is a legitimate reason to not only get Accesscode Talker banned, but hopefully errata'd to become less generic on its summoning requirements. Joshua Schmidt has a specific great clip about why Accesscode Talker should be banned, I'd recommend you all to check it out!
That's basically what they did with the Synchro, as there's nothing locking it to Salamangreat specifically and is practically guaranteed to work better elsewhere. 😂
Tiger doesn’t lock u into salads, u can pitch spinee and that gives access into any level 8 syncro. Also there’s other good fire syncros, like black rose dragon.
No. You are just trying to find a way to make the deck have more meaningful plays once the lock is applied after the synchro effect, making you settle for mediocrity.

Salamangreat didn't need Synchros (or Fusions, for that matter) and worked just fine as a Cyberse LinXyz Deck, but now that we have Tuners incoming, all options are on the table, and it's like they made Raging Phoenix to work with Black Rose Dragon's nuke effect. 😂

Lavalval lord is decent disruption and prince can assist with plays. And I guess the whatever black rose does must be worth it since people are talking about it, but I am not familiar enough with the deck to know if it is mostly hype
I dont think you know what the word "litterally" means there are plenty of token generators that allow the tokens to be tributed. Rite of Aramesir and one time passcode are just two examples I can think of that cant be pedantically argued about, but there are more.

I feel like the could realistically given them more synchros down the line but right now the best thing of the new support is the tuners because if they don't lock you to fires you could in theory bypass the decks biggest weakness in the giant stupid rock (Nibiru) by making a synchro 8, 7 or 9 with a negate in 2 to 4 summons which could make the deck be better but as far as the rest of the support its just meh

I stg I don't even play access in any one of my decks I've never played it in any deck I've ever owned and I think it's not that big of an issue. If people are tired of seeing just climb into access code in non cyberse decks maybe they should be asking why Konami doesn't give a good payoff or boss monster to decks to the point update hammer into access code is their best game plan
the new link 4 is okay, but the issue is see is that you need to run atleast 2 copies to get the reincarnation effect and that point i don't think it's worth the extra deck space just to search rage.
the salads let you end on borrel, baronne and a salad trap with wolf on field, the extra deck cards are kinda bad..., the link takes too much mats, the synchro has A LOT of potential, but im too lazy to cook that much
Seventh force is searchable with seventh ascension which can be searched by Barians Chaos draw. Is it worth running nine copies of a rank up xyz during the battle phase? Maybe not but you can also run these cards to use and activate rank up magic the seventh one which is pretty good but only a once per duel so you run it as a one of and seventh force as the back up
Burst Gryphon, while it has the same limitation of requiring two to do anything (right? You DO need too for the relink, yes???) it DOES say "1 monster" which means ANY. That can make sacrifice of, say, using Flame Administrator to uplink to, say Borrelogic Overload Dragon, into a temporary inconvenience. To me, without that card, I don't like the cards as a whole, so anything that can be seen as a way to keep it on the field is a good thing.

Black Rose only activates on synchro summon. So unless you intend to banish a plant next turn to 0 a monster, it's pointless.

The Link 4 is an OTK enabler, which would be great if Accesscode didn't exist and Salads are Cyberse and literally why run two copies of this card when you can just do an Accesscode line.
how does it enable OTKs? One of YOUR monsters has to get destroyed, most salads are pretty tiny, and if you're summoning anything bigger you probably can OTK already or are just in an otherwise good spot

You CAN search Seventh Force with the Spell Card Seventh Ascension, or use its effect with Barian's Chaos Draw. I'm not sure if it's worth using either of those (especially the latter), but it's something.
Technically can't use Barians chaos draw to activate seventh force since it only activates in the main phase but you can use chaos draw to search seventh ascension and then search seventh force

The tuner for salad is interesting because in optimal hands you can get Wind Pegasus. The link 4 is something.
I think some people were pointing out Fire Fist Horse Prince as an option with Wheesel, but you can use the same materials for Miragestalio so I don't see the point unless you're tossing in non Salad fire monsters. Sounds like jank to me, but it could be something worthwhile I guess.

On the internet, if something's not great, it's garbage. In reality these are mostly just fine. The problem is just being 'fine' makes something nearly unplayable. Although, searching Will of the Salamangreat off Phoenix and special summoning 4 Salads from the Hand/GY to continue Link summoning could be fun! There might even be shenanigans with giving the opponent the 1st Phoenix off Wheesel and searching Burning Draw with the 2nd Phoenix to draw 5 cards in total, that's interesting right?! And now Salads can even access Baronne! That's cool, RIGHT?!?!? In reality, until Accesscode Talker is gone and Cyberse decks (and many other decks) are free from the oppression of being forced to play it as their win condition, something like Phoenix will likely never see play.
“Slightly worse than what already exists” is already “unplayable”. Salad hasn’t been good outside of it’s best cards splashed in a better deck for a long time. People are right to be harsh.
Opponent needs to control more monsters than you for burning draw so it doesn't work
Not on the first turn unless you try to do Mathmech stuff and it getd hit by a Bystial, or they have something like Havnis/Gamma/Phantazmay to bring out in your opening plays, but anytime after that you can probably pull shenanigans.
If Accesscode is banned, Cyberse decks will drop even harder.
why do people want access code banned? if you allowed the opponent to get to it you deserve to lose the duel.
The Tuner Salamangreats are kinda useful as one offs. Maybe even letting them access other synchro.
Raging Phoenix is weird. As a supposed fusion of Pyro phoenix and the link 3 Ignister card, one would think it would at least have a burn damage related effect.
About the rest of the support.... I don't know. One would you think the support would at least try to focus even more on the "rencarnation" gimmick and the "battle related" effects other cards like violet chimera and heatleo do, and force you into aking it work, considering they introduced the last member of the reincarnation gimmick (the synchro). maybe even make the synchro at least a quick effect as reference to "clear mind" effects.
Thoughts.
1)SS itself then +1 as give your opponent a Link Mat. An extender but who needs it when we can just unlimit our limited Salad card.
2)Synchro Salad tool.(Meh)
3)A Link 4 that can search upon RLS and res itself every turn upon a Salad being bonked. High investment but low returns as you most likely use it for an Accesscode Mat at T2 and a T1 Option along with Sunlight Wolf. Sunlight Wolf alsp helps people who just SS monsters in their Link Arrows than the new Link 4.
4)Salad Synchro, Great Fire Support which can SS the Fire Cow Graceful Charity and your Salad Monsters for a combo starter, but it has no protection and has too much investment for a Salad Deck which does OTKs via Accesscode. In a Grindy Salad Deck its a great option, but not for a meta Salad Deck.
5)Either a Recycler and an extender OR a Pop with requirements. Not good but not bad either.
6)Monster Reborn but Trap. Might as well make it as a Spell Card but restrict it to Salad and it makes no difference.
Yep. From a meta standpoint its mid but for a functioning and balanced deck its working fine as it is as well as it fit its theme quite well than just giving the archtype generic effects we see all day long in other decks like OPt Omni-negate, A Pop, etc.
Consider that Wolf only ever got access to rage or roar unless you hard drew them. Phoenix can let you get both.
The kinda sad thing to me is that Heatsoul is still far and away the best thing to end on for salad going first. They could've really easily given the new link 4 some kind of similar tempo effect to facilitate your deck's grind game, maybe a soft floodgate eff attached to it, but instead it's just a rota and a revival effect

I think one thing that's pretty neat about the new tuners (teeger specifically) is that they now give salads a means to get into Baronne and Borreload savage dragon. Granted, I don't know how easy that's gonna be for a turn 1 end board but it still pretty cool.
It's not that difficult, just off the top of my head:
-Open with Jack Jaguar and Gazelle (or more likely Circle/Mining to search it)
-Summon Jaguar
-Link into Balelynx
-Bale CL1, Gazelle CL2
-Gazelle dump Spinny
-Revive Spinny, overlay into Stallio
-Stallio summon Teeger
-Bale + Stallio into Sunlight Wolf
-Shuffle Stallio to revive Jaguar
-Wolf returns Gazelle to hand
-Increase Teeger's level
-Teeger + Jaguar into Baronne
The real question is if it's actually worth it compared to just going into Heatsoul or Roar/Rage.

For the Raging Phoenix, you need two. They are pushing the second linking gimmick further by making it a way to extend a play. They set the effects up to both facilitate and depend on the mechanic.
As it should be, without the flavor it really is just another Accesscode Turbo Mathmech Deck.
White Dandy is basically designed to work like Dandy was intended to work, with Tributes, not ED Mechanics
The seventh card is searchable. It's pretty far and away the best card to search off seventh ascension imo. Barian/seventh/100+ decks are pretty bad but for what the deck is (fun pet deck for low power play) this card is great.

The only nice thing I can say about Dandy White Lion is that I vastly prefer what they did here, printing an underpowered retrain of a classic card, rather than going back and errata'ing the old one. More of this, please.

It wont. But its enough to compete with other decks of its generation, but not for the current meta state or a year ago.
Well you can , but the problem is like the ratio like the phoenix is fine but what you want to swap with, you can play the tuner to make something like barrone or borrel because the only lock you has is mirage stalio, but again theirs a lot better build like with the mini firewall stuff and mathmech to facilitate other stuff.
Probably put in raging phoenix if you can make it, the rest seem bad.
Dont have space for synchros so the main deck monsters arent even a consideration.
Maybe the revive spell that doubles as conditional pop.

I don't get why people don't see the utility in Salamangreat Charge. You throw a Sunlight Wolf and something else probably Baelynx into the Extra Deck, summon a SW who yes can't attack or use his effects but then you just Re-Link it into a fresh one. Pretty good. And as a Quick Play, you could with set up throw a Pyro Phoenix back and Re-Link one on the field with Transcendence to blow up the board. You know, if you're into that sort of thing!

I just want to point out that Charge's pop effect isn't that bad. Heatsoul pointing to literally anything turns it on, as does Transcode + Sunlight Wolf, which aren't the *worst* monsters for Salad to end with.
Also, I think it's funny that you can use the synchro to revive a level 4 and go into Blaze Dragon. Not at all good, just funny.
Sal really needs a turn 1 boss monster. It also would have been nice if they had given them a link 5
You can make the new firewall link 6 I guess, go Raging Phoenix, link off into Raging Phoenix, search will, summon back 4, go Raging Phoenix and 2 monsters for Singularity, use the other 2 for the synchro, use Singularity to bring back the level 5 tuner, use the synchro to bring back a level 3, 5 + 5 for Baronne, and then if you have anything left you can make Miragestaleo and get another guy into rotation. Only problem is, you need to do the whole thing with no Miragestaleo and the end board isn't even that much better than Roar pass with guaranteed kill next turn.

The dandy white lion i think might be good combined with cards that require 3 of the same monster. The avatars (like the wicked avatar), 3 of a kind trap, etc. Maybe could be triggered during opponent's turn so it doesn't affect your extra deck plays.

If you want to toss sycnhro plays into a cyberse deck then your better off splashing Icejade Aergirine Ran into Marincess, its both an extender for a deck or a free Gymir/Chengying.

I'm not too fond with Salamangreats but the new cards seem decent and not as bad as many people pointed out. Albeit, Salamangreat needs more boss monsters instead of extenders.
I would've loved if Raging Phoenix was able to treat itself as Pyro Phoenix while on board to give you an incentive to actually play Pyro Phoenix for that board wipe-incase shit happens and you need that nuke.

There is a legitimate reason to not only get Accesscode Talker banned, but hopefully errata'd to become less generic on its summoning requirements. Joshua Schmidt has a specific great clip about why Accesscode Talker should be banned, I'd recommend you all to check it out!

Tiger doesn’t lock u into salads, u can pitch spinee and that gives access into any level 8 syncro. Also there’s other good fire syncros, like black rose dragon.

Salamangreat didn't need Synchros (or Fusions, for that matter) and worked just fine as a Cyberse LinXyz Deck, but now that we have Tuners incoming, all options are on the table, and it's like they made Raging Phoenix to work with Black Rose Dragon's nuke effect. 😂

I dont think you know what the word "litterally" means there are plenty of token generators that allow the tokens to be tributed. Rite of Aramesir and one time passcode are just two examples I can think of that cant be pedantically argued about, but there are more.

I feel like the could realistically given them more synchros down the line but right now the best thing of the new support is the tuners because if they don't lock you to fires you could in theory bypass the decks biggest weakness in the giant stupid rock (Nibiru) by making a synchro 8, 7 or 9 with a negate in 2 to 4 summons which could make the deck be better but as far as the rest of the support its just meh

Maybe not but you can also run these cards to use and activate rank up magic the seventh one which is pretty good but only a once per duel so you run it as a one of and seventh force as the back up

Burst Gryphon, while it has the same limitation of requiring two to do anything (right? You DO need too for the relink, yes???) it DOES say "1 monster" which means ANY. That can make sacrifice of, say, using Flame Administrator to uplink to, say Borrelogic Overload Dragon, into a temporary inconvenience. To me, without that card, I don't like the cards as a whole, so anything that can be seen as a way to keep it on the field is a good thing.
